i havent change my cotton in about 2 months and i vape quite often does the old cottons affects too much my health?
Hi and welcome,
Two months for me would be about 700ml of liquid.
How many ml of liquid do you use per day?

IMO, in the time it took to join and post here, you could have replaced the cotton and rendered the question mute.
If it ain't broke.... However, if flavor/vapor/throat hit are lacking...swap out the 14 cents worth of cotton.

Cheers

Don't know about health, possibly, but it certainly affects the flavor and overall quality of your vape. Please rewick your coil as soon as possible. Like right now. :)

If you are OK with the Taste you are getting, I Don't think there is really a Health Concern.

But Man... After that long with the Same Cotton, the Taste of the Hit you will get when you Change the Cotton will be Monumental.

No one can answer this question and anyone who claims to have "the answer" is not being honest or is delusional. Many aspects of vaping are still a mystery because few people want to do the proper testing (or any testing at all) on ecigarettes.

If it worries you, then change your cotton wick at whatever interval that makes you feel safe. So if changing your cotton every 3 hours, every day, every other day or ever other week makes you feel safe, do it.

However, if the unknown health effects of vaping causes you too much worry and stress, you may want to consider quitting altogether because the added stress in your life might eventually make you ill or even kill you.

Good luck.

Just so you know...

We call that Type of Atomizer a Tank with a Coil Head.

And Now I Understand whey it is Hard for you to Change the Cotton. Because a Coil Head usually Isn't meant to be Rebuildable. Or to easily replace the Cotton.

I'm going to say it can't be good :(.

After a couple of weeks of custard flavor, my coil and wick are toast. Literally. There is such a nasty layer of black charred crud on the coil, it's no wonder why my lungs were beginning to hurt.

    Go buy some online now.

    Welcome to ecf.
