Just a Quick Question on P18 Batteries...

I've been using these batteries:

Tenergy CR123A LiFePO4 Rechargeable Batteries & Smart Charger

for 6V vaping without any issues whatsoever, for nearly a year. I originally bought 4 batteries and the charger. Well, the time has come for me to buy new batteries and naturally I did some searching around.

When I went to find the current batteries I have, I notice that I'm seeing these floating around all over the net:

Amazon.com: Kits: 6 RCR123A 3.0V 750mAh LiFePO4 Rechargeable Batteries with a Smart Charger: Camera & Photo

My charger that I currently have is worn out and I was planning on buying a combo kit anyway. So my question is simple and straightforward. Can I use these in my Precise 18650? (The second link).

Thanks in advance for the responses. :D

Yes you can but they are not the recomended batts, the ones that are recomended are the blue aw lifepo4 3.2volts that David sells for as good if not better a price than anywhere. I also wanted to let you know that the ones that you ahave been using previously are the exact same ones that you have linked, they are just a dif color. David also has the ultrafire wf188which is cool because you can charge 3.0/3.2 or 3.6/3.7 with it because it has a switch to choose the correct voltage , it also charges most common size lithium batteries, not only the 16340 sized. I would suggest getting one of those and some aw's that I mentioned before but it is up to you. The quality control at aw is better than any other battery than I have purchased and I think they have lasted longer as well and that is why I think that they are worth the extra money. Another thing to think about is you are stacking batts and that is inherently more dangerous than a single battery. I think you can never be to careful and if I am stacking batts I will only use the best out there. But obviously this is totally up to you and if you feel confident in the tenergys then go for it. I bet that was more of an answer than you were looking for. lol

Wow, I do appreciate the information and you're right, I wasn't expecting that long of a response, but it's highly appreciated. You gave some very useful information and it does help with my decision. Thanks again.

I think Antavanhalen covered most if not all of your questions, but you can definitely use the Tenergies in there too, i've had good luck with their quality too.

Thanks David. Those Tenergy batteries have been of amazing quality that I've been using for nearly a year. Thanks for the response.
