Yeah... might be an irritation or allergy to cinnamon - I vape tons of the stuff. If I'm vaping too heavily it makes my throat scratchy... but that applies to any flavor I vape. Sometimes my body tells me "Vape something else or I'm going to make this very unpleasant for you" and even my favorites like Key Lime, Cinnamon Graham Cracker, and Cheesecake flavors will cause my throat to become itchy if I vape them for too long or too heavily. But plain old cinnamons? Gotta get them in from time to time to help wipe my sense of smell and taste clean. Sometimes I flip my cleaning with a menthol or other strong mint (wintergreen, peppermint, or spearmint).

Red hot cinnamon - that stuff's so tasty... may have to pop some in my TC KFL+ and have a toot.

Ive been vaping Aries all evening it has cinnamon in it. When I started vaping it my sinus was burning a little bit but it went away. I can see where someone could have a issue if you were sensitive to it.

Dont ever do the cinnamon challenge you may not make out alive

I did see someone actually get the whole tablespoon down I was seriously impressed.

There are 2 types of Cinnamon.
The Red Hots type has had people concerned for a while. The baking type, Cinnamon Roll, Etc. is a much lighter flavoring and would only bother someone with possible food allergies.

I'd say if it is effecting you, definitely a stay away liquid. Could also be something else in the Recipe causing this.

Help others help you:
What is the Actual Brand/Flavor name?

This time of year it's hard to tell if you have a virus/flu/upper resp. infection, or if it's vaping.

If it was cinnamon, for ME, I would already know. I can't vape any kind even a tiny bit....first I get blisters on my lips then my whole mouth gets inflamed and once I even got my first nosebleed in my entire life when I was vaping it.

Yet, I eat cinnamon with my oatmeal in the a.m. and was tested and not allergic to it.

So I think it is just too harsh on my mucus membranes when vaped.

Neither my daughter nor I use Red Hots type cinnamon. We are not really candy flavor vapors. (However, if I ever find a true Good and Plenty flavor, I will happily vape that till the cows come home. I have been addicted to Good and Plenty since childhood). We both really enjoy dessert/bakery flavors, especially since she is sensitive to gluten and vaping bakery flavors at least gives her the taste of the cookies, donuts, etc., that she has to avoid.

That being said, I am very careful about ordering flavors for her that are very cinnamon forward. I check the user reviews, and if there are a lot of comments about cinnamon being the dominant flavor, I just do not order them for her. She loves it in baked goods, and we use it at home in food, but she has had problems with 3 flavors, from 3 different vendors, since we started vaping almost 4 years ago. One was a Snickerdoodle flavor, the other two were Pumpkin Pie flavors. The Snickerdoodle was very cinnamon forward - I inherited the rest of the bottle, it was very cinnamon-y - but I had no problems, so we are fairly certain it was not a bad batch. We are not sure if letting any of the three flavors steep would help - she likes to try new flavors straight out of the mailbox, and, if she likes them, she continues vaping them. She wound up with bronchitis when she was using the Snickerdoodle and one of the Pumpkin Pie eliquids. Neither of us blames the eliquids or the vendors for the bronchitis, but she was getting sick to begin with, and those particular eliquids seemed to make things worse. Since she had problems with eliquids from 3 different vendors, right now we are thinking that the problem is with the cinnamon flavoring since that seems to be the common denominator, and we are careful about what we order from any vendor. If she thinks she is having a problem she stops vaping that particular eliquid and hands it over to me. If I have no problems, we conclude that it is not the vendor's flavors but her body that is having issues with something in the eliquid.

Listen to your body. If you are having problems with a flavor, but have had no problems with other flavors from that particular vendor, then stay away from the flavor that gives you issues and enjoy the rest of that vendor's line. If you are having problems with several flavors from a particular vendor, try a different vendor who may be using a different brand of flavorings, pg or vg, or nicotine. There are a lot of variables involved here, and you have to go with what will work for you and your body.
