So i ordered my silvervein omega...i love love love that switch ....Except for some reason ALL of my 510 atties leak on it like no tomorrow even with like 2 drops on a blown out atty...i tried edjusting the contact a little and it still leaks like ever....

I'm trying to find a tank of some sort to put on my omega... a MAP tank or something along those lines...but...

What would people think if Chad could design an autofeeder tank (coughGGcough) for the omega....that kind of sits on top of the omega but slightly narrower that the atty sits inside of. Narrower so that you can still get a bit of your fingers on the top cap of the bottom assembly. Kind of like a MAP tank mod for the ce-2s but without having to use a CE2....

Maybe some kind of ring to lock that top cap shut too for pocketablity. Because of the floating contact in the omega even unscrewing an atty just a bit so it doesn fire.....it fires anyway do to the way the floating connection and slide assembly works.

Any idea?

I love this omega but for some reason no matter what i put on it...510s, adapters, HV, LV, standard it leaks...the rings on top catch a little but then it just leaks completely out and i get sticky hands or my fingers are always getting in the juice...after a few good vapes it sucks it back in usually and then its and needs more juice....then leaks out...and repeats this process over and over.....(these atomizers don't leak on my prodigy v3.1 not to plug other vendors on the altsmoke forum)

I've had my SV omega for ....5 days as of this post...if i can't figure out why this is leaking i might just call rob and have it replaced or repaired...I don't over drip...been dripping for many months... 3 drops on a 510 is normally like 6-10 good hits then i redrip or so it normally goes for me....I use 1.5 ohm ciscos at 3.7 and true joye 3.2 ohms at 6v with 2 tenergy 750s 3v

ummm... it's the attys that are leaking. The 510s have air holes in the threads. Look at the threads on your 510 atty. Just above the threads at the base of the atty there will be 2 holes. When you take a drag on the atty air comes in those holes, follows the air pathway through the atty and into your mouth. The bridge/coil area is open to this air pathway. If your atty is leaking it is most likely coming out through the air holes in the threads (or possibly leaking where the tube is pressed on the connector).

So... if the battery connector was such that it couldn't leak then you also wouldn't be able to take a drag on the atty (air holes sealed up). I'm not sure how the Omega could have anything to do with your attys leaking. I suppose if the center pin on the Omega was not installed properly and sticking up way too far, it could press in the center post on the atty to where it could leak, if you were screwing it on way too tight. But I think that would be unlikely and pretty obvious if it was the case. Does your atty screw on to the Omega noticeably differently than it screws onto something else?

i had the same issue for a while and ended up only doing it with certain attys
also the runner o ring that is in the top half in the switch housing comes down over the venter so instead of seing metal between the two halvs you see the o ring instead. either way just know that you are not the only one that has leaky attys on the omega. just for reference they do not leak on my SB ive flooded them and the ydont leak on the SB

With the mechanical connection of the OMEGA, the contact pin may push the center post up a bit which could cause a gap in the seal on the atty. The solution, insert atomizer into OMEGA head when re- assembling the unit to ensure you do not have the pin too far into the center post. It is kinda like trying to seal your car window with your finger in it. No matter how tight you try to roll it up your gonna hear wind noise. After building over 1000 of these units and recieving feedback, I am slightly changing the design of the OMEGA, starting with the ALPHA. The only issue I have had with these units was folks trying to re-asemble them and contact adjustment. This is the one reason I stopped sending allen wrenches with each unit, to try and discourage folks from taking them apart without the need :). I have no isssues calling people on the phone and walk them through it. I feel my youtube video was a bit assuming on my part.

I have no issues with the omega other then for the fact that my attys leak like crazy on it....and not on any other device the prodigy i mentioned about the air holes are completely exposed for a clean no resistance draw...the omega air holes are inside the thread which isn't an issue but that doesn't explain as to why the 510 attys dont leak when completely exposed on the prodigy and leak like crazy on the omega...which covers the holes up slightly

Put me down for a tank - stainless - please! My Omega fires on its own from time to time. I suspect I need to take it apart but I really, really, REALLY don't want to. As soon as I find an allen wrench and a dime I'm either going it...maybe. :)

Actually, I can't imagine the Omega with a tank on it. Its a beautiful, elegant design but I can see one on my SB.
