I don't get to log on here very often, running my own business during the warm season, and raising 4 children on top of being pregnant has kept me more than busy here lately. But I try to make an effort to stop in from time to time and just update everyone on my journey of being smoke free.
I think the last time I posted here I was having issues with Morning sickness and vaping, so I will update from there. I tried to order a variety of different unflavored juices, and unfortunately they didn't help improve the nausea while vaping. It got to the point where EVERYTHING smelled and tasted like old nasty rotting dirty shoe....I couldn't even vape my Blue moo or stand to smell my husband's custard flavored juices either. We tried using wicks instead of cotton, we went from a Vamo to the Nemesis, from protank to Russian, and NOTHING made a difference, I was sick, sick, sick. So, ultimately I did give up vaping. I have been vape free for a month, I still crave from time to time but nothing horrible. Best of all, I have NOT given in and bought, hit, smoked, bummed, borrowed a single cigarette either, despite not being able to vape. So I have essentially been a non smoker for 4 months, almost 5 and it feels amazing!
I plan on keeping all my vaping gear and juice etc...that way if I need something after the baby is born, I will have that to fall back onto, but I will continue to try and stay vape/smoke free after the LO is born, but we'll see. I still enjoy vaping very much, so I am sure this non vaping episode will only last for the duration of my pregnancy. I am 13 weeks now, and trying to enjoy every last bit. Thanks everyone for all the help and support, and I will try to update again soon. But for now, my kids think I am starving them because lunch is running late.
