When you say no vape, is that literally no vape or just a little? But it sounds like it's just dry hitting to me, which is usually a wicking issue, did you prime it properly before use?
Agree with Benji, sounds like you getting dry hits. The coils needs to be wet before using in a tank and you want to pull (suck) on it without firing the button, then do short, fast presses and pulling until you feel the juice starting to wick up.
Prime the coil(soak with juice)
Set power on the battery real low.
Take a couple puffs.(you won't get much of anything)
Increase the power some and take a couple more puffs. Continue this process until it tastes burnt or gets too hot then back off the power a bit.
This process needs to be done whenever you are breaking in
1. a new coil.
2. Trying a new liquid.
3. Using a new battery for the first time.
4. Trying out a new tank(new coil)
The M80 plus is a TC device and needs to be set according to the coil you are using. TC or non TC. Cheers.
With any prebuilt coils you need to prime them. Drip juice into the cotton material from the coil through all openings until it can take no more. Then you will still probably need several primer puffs at lower wattage setting and then maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the tank to fully break in those new coils.
If you simply plug and vape the prebuilt coils without priming you are going to get dry hits ie: No vapor, burnt cotton taste.
Also, I would trash the coils you have in there as the cotton (wick) is probably shot.
