Just bought my first atomizer, wow!

I'm still pretty new to vaping, and I'm probably about a little over a month in. I've been going to the local vapor shop and tried out some boges and stardusts. They worked ok despite a few problems here and there.

Today I picked up a sr smoketech atty and wow, it tastes amazing. I think atomizers are going to be my main thing, and I would love some advice on a easy to build atomizers that works well. I've read that the phoenix rebuildables are easy for a newbie but I would appreciate some suggestions very much. Even some good brands of prebuilt disposable atomizers, I've heard that the HH.357's were good too.

i would stick with commercial attys a bit longer before you start purchasing rebuildables. do alot of research and know what to do before buying.

i love my genesis's and phoenixs, but ikenvapes low res AND high res 510 attys are still in my top favorites. ikv 306 is amazing as well.

the hh357 is good, but considering the price, id go with ikenvape all day. not to mention ive had 2 357s that pretty much dont work and its been a process getting a hold of hanna for replacements of these "$20" attys...

Since you're a semi-new vapor, you might know this, but you might not..

A phoenix atomizer is a rebuildable atomizer.. Meaning you can rebuild the coil on the device, so that you do not need to buy a new one every time it dies (like a traditional atomizer). These are the best rebuildable devices for beginners in my opinion, since they are very easy to rebuild. Other rebuildable atomizers which are similar to the Phoenix are the: Bulli, A7, and fatty.. but there are plenty more out there. If you are using ego twists, a multimeter is a must so that you can check for shorts. Shorts can lead to a dangerous situation. A PV with short protection is highly HIGHLY recommended when using rebuildables.

Good disposable atomizers are: HH.357s, Empiremods 901 (requires a drip shield), and cisco 306s. I would grab either a HH.357 or the 901.

Don't twists have short protection built in them? I'd like to eventually try my hand at one of those easy rebuildables, but in the mean time I might grab one of those disposables to try out, thanks!

Because its tedious, cumbersome, and messy. Tanks are way more convenient and if you work em with the right carto setup, vape like a champ

Not sure I dont use J tanks. But have heard good things. I mainly use a Big Daddy or Smok Tech UDCT. But Id assume like most tank systems you'd want to ensure you match the ohm of the carto with the voltage your supplying. If Im using a 3.7v mod I usually go with 1.5 oHm on dual coil and 1.7 on single

Sounds like you did something wrong. I get my cartos hitting great in comparison to an atty and it never tastes burned or like cotton.

their are pros and cons with every setup. I just prefer not changing out my cartos every couple of days because they become clogged. Plus, I hate wasting juice that are left in the old carto and the juice it takes to prime a new carto.

I agree with you there. Those are my biggest dislikes as well. I guess it boils down to which you mind the least. Changing cartos or regularly dripping. I'm playing around with a couple different things trying to get the best of both worlds.

i agree with an earlier post. dripping doesnt compare to cartomizers. UNLESS your vaping on an actually good cartomizer. wich is rare anymore. i have a TON of boges sitting here that will never be used cuz they taste like crap and hurt my throat. i started out on cartos, and i know for a fact that they never tasted this bad. but thanks to quality atomizers amd genesis attys, its not the end of the world.

BUT, i would really like to try a tank setup with an IKV fusion, or any good cartomizer from ikenvape for that matter. isaac truely does have top notch products... just really blows their never in stock!

Id try the IKV cartos if they had some in less than 2.0 oHm. Looks like you have to go with the clear carto to get below 2

I am relatively new to vaping, been just under 3 months, but what I have found as my perfect vape is using a genesis rebuildable (cobra) and comercial atties. Right now I am using i06's and 901's from ikenvape. Dripping I use when I want a quick switch of flavors. I use an empire drip shield with 901s and a drip cup adapter with io6's, kinda think I like the shield better then the adapter not sure yet.

I agree a rebuildable dripping atty is what I switch to soon, so both of my main devices I can rebuild, but looking for the best one that can use mesh.

Good luck, I do agree ikenvape has great attys but I don't have a lot to compare them to.
