Just bought RPM80 Pro! Battery recommendations???

I want to be sure I am buying a safe battery for this device.. element recommended a Samsung 30Q so I bought one as I don’t have any singles atm. Is this a good battery or should I get something with higher amp/capacity? Help plz idk much.
Ps- went to mooch’s forum, great info, not specific to this device obv.

Is it better to get a 40A battery and that covers all areas? Or a 20A battery? Is there a universal option? Or is it specific to the device/coil?

I bought 2 Samsung 20s 18650s.. I’d still like an opinion though!

Hi and welcome,
The Samsung 20s batteries should treat you well if you vape at the upper end of the wattage range (60-80W).
If you vape at lower power levels, you might be able to get by with a 25A battery rated at 2500 or 2600 mAh and extend your vape day.
I don't believe there is an actual 40A 18650 being produced.

Other options include the Molicel 26A, Sony/Murata VTC5A or VTC5D
The Samsung 30Q is a nice 15A 3000mAh battery and will be fine for mid range vaping (IMO, up to about 45W).


ETA: an external battery charger is suggested.
