Just built my first RTA!!!

Got impatient waiting for my fasttech order to come through (A kayfun lite plus V2, a kayfun v3.1 ES, a 100w plus box and some other bits and pieces) so I went to the local B&M here and picked up an RTA (Taifun GT clone) a lot more expensive than fasttech naturally. First go at building (been dripping for a little bit, so used to building coils now) used a 26 kanthal wire and got it at around 1.1 ohm. Japanese cotton (what else) filled the tank up and fired!!! my MVP 2 wouldn't recognise the atty at first, so tried it on my iStick, fired no problem and good flavour, but looks rediculous having a huge tank sitting on the iStick. Realised about the pin adjustment, dropped the pin down a little and it fires on my MVP 2.

The MVP is at max, but she's firing and getting decent vape.

Can't wait for my 100w plus to get here!!!!

sugoi! hope ya having a great time with that and on top of it, just all remember to grab some legitable batteries that can match the builds (cause i got a feeling you may soon be headin the sub ohming experience)

Actually went to the B&M just to pick up some batteries (efest purples, ordered some samsung R25s from heaven gifts, but wanted a set just in case the 100w plus arrived before the batteries did)

While I was there (first time to a B&M, done everything else on-line) I thought, well, it won't harm to just "look" at what RTAs they have and then a serious case of the shiny shinies took a hold!!! ended up walking out with the batteries and the Taifun!!!!!!

Don't try to vape that KFL+ v2 at anything more than 20 watts when you get that 100w mod, and 20 watts is likely too high without priming every few hits. Most tank systems are not made to handle higher watts and will not be able to keep up. The Kayfuns are definitely one of them.

Congrats on the RDA. I myself am waiting om my first RDA, a Tobh clone. been vaping for a couple years. but only with sticks.
