NorCal of course
Im so excited!
I have a co-worker that has been smoking for years. She has made a feeble attempt with a cigalike for the past year on and off.
She said it just didnt feel the same and she only used it to get a quick nic fix when she couldnt smoke. ( like at work or around some family)
I had a new EGO kit i had as a backup I wasnt using and a few bottle of menthol juice that came with a sampler. I set her up and she loved it! She came to me the next day and said she didnt smoke at all and she is a believer. I know I will have to be her tech support for a while until she get the hang of maintaining her devices but its worth it to see someone else kick the cigs.
I look foward to the next person I can help

Amazing isn't it! Good for you and I believe you're up to the task of tech support, who better? Happy vaping :vapor:

I am working on a co-worker myself but not having much luck... I've given him 2 of my old (1month) 650 ego's and 2 stardust clearomizers, 2 DIY juices (Cinnamon & Sweettart) but it's a no go so far...
I had the talk with him everything I can think of but I'm afraid it might have been information overload... He asked once to have the talk with him again but when I had time he didn't...
I figure when he really wants to switch over, he'll ask again and I'll be there!

There are a few I have well on the way to not smoking that didnt know they wanted to be converted. My friend John was a fellow supervisor/paramedic I used to work with. I left that company to work offshore and got him a job offshore on a similar schedule. His wife is filing for disabilty for the 3rd time ( ruined her back working as an EMT ) they both smoke, and usually smoke the cheap-o 99 cent cigarish smokes once the money runs short. I get a refferal bonus for getting him hired, so the day before he went out for his first time I dropped by to give him and his wife 100$ to help out until he gets his first check. I also gave him a 9.99 ebay ego starter ( I am using mine 4 months later ) and a 6$ bottle of passionfruit juice I got locally ( not bad at all )...

He went out for 28 days with a carton of smokes, and ran out... he is now smoking the e-cig and has called to thank me. I am getting his wife one for christmas and having a vape tasting party at his house in 2 weeks. John has had skin cancer twice... he is my friend, we ride motorcycles together... I dont care if he is ready... he is desperate... that is good enough for me!

Recruiting...it's a tough sell sometimes, I'll give you an example.

There's a co-worker of mine who'd always been eager to stop smoking, and had approached me several times in the last few months expressing interest in vaping. I explained it all to her in great detail over a period of a few weeks, letting her try my device several times, gave her some good web links to both buy and learn from, etc.

Earlier this month, she came to me and said that she'd been checking the net and although she wanted to start vaping, she felt overwhelmed by all the information that she'd read and wanted me to both purchase her equipment and juice and maintain it as well. I told her that that wasn't a good idea as she'd have to learn this for herself and that there was in fact a learning curve as with most new things. I did offer to help her along if she's stuck or confused with anything. She immediately blurted out, no lie, these were her exact words: "I knew I couldn't count on you, you're too self-absorbed to help me anyway". She hasn't talked to me since and she's still smoking as well. :(

Moral of the story, some smokers, even though they want to quit, I think that many really aren't quite ready for this until it all becomes a lot simpler.

My wife smokes her kanger at work all day every day. Her boss has been on the blu for years but still smokes an analog from time to time. The other day her blu died and she went to my wife to see if she had an analog she could bum. Of course she told her no. So the boss asked if maybe she could take a drag from her kanger. (she had been opposed to it cause she said it looked like a crack pipe) she fell in love. My wife had me send her all the Web pages I use and the next thing she knew her boss had her at her desk helping her pick the color of her kanger rig. She gets it next week and she is stoked. Most of my Co workers are non smokers but hit me up all the time about information cause they have seen how well vaping has worked for me so they want to pass on the information to friends and family to get them off the stinkies. I always tell them I am here in case they need information to pass along. I love the positive response I have gotten from this.
