I frame houses (and side and trim them out) and I definitely vape at work. lol. I carried a simple 808 battery set up in a lanyard around my neck for the first couple of months, but now keep a regulated 5v box mod in my truck and run to it for a drink of water and vape whenever I feel the urge. Of course, I've only been framing since starting to vape. I'm sure I'll take the mod in with me when I get to the trimming stage on this house. It will be wonderful to be able to vape while trimming indoors. I wouldn't smoke inside a newly plastered/painted house (never know if the new owners could have allergies to tobacco smoke). :p

I own a bookkeeping business, which actually led me to vaping. A client came to my (home) office, and I had to ask him about credit card charges to determine whether they were for business or personal purposes. One charge that I questioned was for "VaporKings" or something, since he is a roofer I thought it might be a vapor barrier for roofing related stuff. He pulled out his Ecig and proceeded to show me how it worked, and I was hooked on the idea, bought a system, and am now a true believer. Anyway, since most of my work is done at home, it's great to not have to deal with stinky ashtrays here. I do have client offices where I need to spend time- one is a doctor's office, and I wouldn't even consider vaping there. Another is an auto body shop which is smoke friendly, but of course only outside... I've explained the ecig to them (may even have a couple of people interested!) and I have no problem taking a vape or two at my desk there. Since you have an office in a family restaurant, you should be free to vape to your heart's (and lungs') content, no smoke, no worries!!!

Work in property management for seniors. Have to be careful - some residents are "smoke nazi's" and have called the health dept three times in the past year for smokers smoking too close to the building OUTSIDE. But I smoke going up and down the stairs, in the bathroom and, rarely, in the office with not one comment on smell or anything. If you vape, hold it in, then take an extra short inhale through your nose you get almost no vapor...thanks to the ECFer who gave me the tip.

I'm retired from the military and then worked for 10 years as a CNC lathe operator, before I retired completely last April.

I vaped at work,, but only on breaks and lunch. Smoked for 40 years, 2 packs a day before switching to vaping.

BTW, I had not seen anyone vape before either, and incidently, I haven't seen anyone else vape since I started either.

Oh, wait, there was the one guy at the 7-11 store a few weeks back. He had just bought one of their E-cigs and stepped outside to try it. I asked him how it was, he said it was weird. Don't know exactly what he meant, I just paid for my gas and left.

I work for 2 retail businesses, one is seasonal and not an appropriate store for me to be vaping on the sales floor, the other is a small family owened hippie shop of sorts, and while we aren't a head shop, we get asked about paraphernalia a lot. I vape constantly there, it gets the inquiries rerouted to ecigs instead. While I can't reroute their illegal hobbies, I can hopefully convert a few from analogs to ecigs. (also, since it's not really a kids store, and there is always incense burning, it doesn't look as bad there as if I'm vaping while patrolling the sales floor at my Halloween shop)

Im a bartender for a living and yes i vape at work. I see it as a benefit to me and the customers who smoke since i can possibly get them to try e cigs also. The best thing is these arent banned in most places so you can just about vape anywhere. It shouldnt be a problem vaping in your restaurant.

It is also very nice because i am constantly busy at work so sometimes i dont have time to step out for a 5 min smoke break so i can just take a few hits between making drinks when i feel the need.

Chemist. I don't vape in the lab but I do when I am at my desk (with my colleague's blessing, I asked). Otherwise, I vape at home or in the car. When the smoking bans took effect, I have seriously cut down on restaurants, bars...etc. And you know what? I don't miss it. I have a lot more fun visiting or inviting friends and all of them are OK with vaping. Occasionally, I join the smokers in the smoking area of whatever place I am in and make new friends.

I work for a large software company, and mostly telecommute. I go into the office now and then, and do some traveling as well.

I don't vape in the office, although I do go out for lunch so will vape in my car then. That's pretty much what I did when I was smoking, too. I didn't take smoke breaks, except for when I went out for lunch.

When I work from home, I vape all day long!

I run a manufacturing facility. A precision machine shop. I used to leave my desk 20 times per day and smoke out back. Now, i have a Woodvil, a Prodigy and a passthru in my office and it's great. I've gotten 4 of my guys off smokes already with two more ready to fall in the wagon any day now.

I've only seen one other person vape before me and that was the guy that told me about them. I was in NC on business and he worked as a handyman. He saw me smoking and came over, introduced himself, told me about ecigs and gave me someones card that sold them.

I never called them but i did search it and found an 808 type rip-off which i set aside in frustration.

Months later, i researched several forums, found this one and i've been here ever since.

Great place.
