Hello I just got my first rda its a Igo-w clone and most of day was just trying to build some coils .I'm going to use cotton yarn that I seen some other ppl have tried and also cotton balls so I went to Wal-Mart to buy yarn and in the craft area I seen some wire there that they make jewelry out of so I was just wondering can this be used for coil wire? All I seen was 24 gauge it looked a bit to thick but Idk maybe some 1 here might know and also how do I lower ohm?

A lot of that jewelry making wire is very low resistance. Whatever you find at Walmart is likely to be of dubious chemical make up as well (probably not labeled accurately as far as what metals the wire is made of). In addition to being low resistance (which would cause problems with vaping and battery drain) some metals produce unpleasant and/or dangerous fumes when they get hot.

You can find kanthal various vendors on ebay, and it's rather inexpensive. Temco is a generally well regarded ebay supplier of kanthal, as is Lightening Vapes.

Don't use the WalMart wire.

also how do I lower ohm?

Are you asking about wrapping low resistance coils? There's a whole sub-forum dedicated to rebuildables, and lot of different topics to cover - more than can be done in just one thread, let alone one post.

Start here, lots of good advice and information:
