I don't know about all of you, but I live in a place with 4 distinct seasons. In a few weeks, we'll be getting chilly weather and pumpkin everything will be rolling out. . . not to mention all of the local apple festivals, wine festivals and the elusive potato festival (what can I say, it's Pennsylvania).

Anyways, I'm 3.5 months into my vaping trip, and I've already noticed that certain flavors just go well with certain times of day. I was wondering if any of you change flavors seasonally?

When I started out, it was early May, still a little chilly at night and I found myself really drawn to bakery juices. As it's gotten hotter and hotter and HOTTER I'm more drawn to fruits and menthols. I bought a pumpkin spice and an apple pie for the fall, but I'm interested to see if anybody else changes their stuff around the seasons. . .

If I could find a truly good pumpkin pie or pumpkin cheesecake juice, I would vape it all year long! I love pumpkin so much there is no such thing as 'seasonal' in that regard... But, I'm a very particular 'pumpkin affectionato': There cannot be any clove, allspice, or cardamon used in the juice recipe (pumpkin pie spice is awful to me) and the juices I find use too much of those spices, which overpower the pumpkin. My pumpkin pie recipe (for real pies, I don't DIY) consists of equal parts of cinnamon, nutmeg, & ginger and it's absolutely perfect.

I adore gingerbread, eggnog, and all other 'Fall' flavors (Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday), but they tend to come out during the season and usually aren't steeped soon enough to be used during the actual Fall/Winter season. With the exception of pumpkin, I lose my excitement for those flavors in a juice past Christmas. I still have a few small bottles that I planned to sample from last year.

I think it's been a couple of years since I had anything from Vape Dudes. I can't remember if I liked them or not. LOL! If the apple cider is that good, I will have to give them a whirl again.

Thanks, jdrewry! :thumb:

It's been a while since I ordered that from them, as well. My last order for anything Apple has been the Tarte Tatin Apple, from Ahlusion. I think I wound up liking that one better (what the heck, it IS Ahlusion..:thumb:)

There is one other I'm likely to try this year...
Mulled Cider – The Vapor Girl

She does a Pumpkin Pie, as well. I think she also did a Sweet Potato Pie, too...

Like DebbieNY, I'm still looking for a pumpkin pie that's not heavy on the spice. I'm also, still trying to find a good pecan pie. Something not too maple flavored, and where you can taste the crust. Here in these parts, it's not the holidays without pecan pie.

Pecan Pie...I found this to be pretty tasty...
SOUTHERN TRADITION

Give it a little time to steep, though....

Oak Barrel Cider from epipemods is also a very good apple cider juice!

Pipe Sauce - 30 mL Bottle - Sauce e-Liquids

Oak Barrel Cider

Aged in oak barrels for 10 years (not really, it’s from California), this flavor bottles everything you love about autumn. The flavor is best described by its title and we are sure it will not disappoint.

@jdrewry Okay, I have to ask, because I've never had Pecan pie. . . what does it taste like?
Is it like, pecan, cinnamon, molasses? Or is it more like syrupy or mapley or sugary?

AKA: does it taste like shoofly pie but with pecans?!?!

Because I could really go for shoofly pie right now. . . but I don't think that's a real thing in most of the country? But in my world it's not fall without some shoofly pie.

Best description I can give about Southern Tradition; Pecans (not overpowering), light molasses (again, not overpowering), with something that helps smooth the TH on the exhale. For me, it's a strong reminder of Pecan Pie...
