Just got a did question

Should there be a ptfe spacer of some sort in the hole where the mesh wick goes? It is only bare metal an it seems to me it would short out..

So long as you're wick is properly oxidized it'll be ok. I've heard that the wick gets hot enough while vaping to melt the spacer that zen sells/sold with his atties. Scubabatdan does have a couple new vids up though where he put his wick in a Pyrex tube in his wick hole, i haven't tried it though so i don't know how well it works.
