Very impressed so far. I got menthol and tobacco flavors from cignot. I am really surprised at how the tobacco flavor tastes like tobacco actually smells - good! I haven't let my batteries charge fully because I couldn't wait to try them. I know for sure that I'm going to need more battery life for my 510. I'm thinking about getting a Chuck, but if I get one, I think I would need an adapter to try the other model atomizers so I know what they're like. I didn't order enough blank carts and have some Nhale juice on the way that I'm really excited to try. What different materials can you use for the filling that I can try until I can get some more blank cartridges by mail? Or is it easier to clean them? Do you just use water?

If I remember correctly, cignot sells carts that are already filled with the lipton pyramid tea bag material which IMO, is the best. You may want to order a few of those to try before jumping in and buying the box of tea to get the bags and making sure you're going to be happy with them.

With the 510's you can drip on the atty instead of refilling carts all the time. Might want to give that a try and see if you prefer that method too.

You can rinse out and reuse the polyfill. Just roll it in paper toweling to dry it and re fluff it. If you buy polyfill, you might want to consider getting the flat sheet batting rather than a bag of the loose stuff. It is easier to cut to size and easier to store (it is like what is used for a quilt).

I have been using the AquaClear foam from PetCo (used for aquarium filters) and have to say, it is working great in my 510!! I've stopped using the Lipton Pyramid Teabag (PTB) since this is so much easier, wicks incredibly well and seems to allow for more liquid when refilling.

The longer life 510 batteries (Mega Power) will be on sale at Totally Wicked on the 5th (30% off!). Mine last about 4 hours.

How many drags do you get from dripping directly on the atty?

I get about 4 to 6 drags. Depends on the length of your drags. I wouldn't drip more than 2 drops, to avoid flooding the atty.

If it starts gurgling loudly from too much juice, just remove the cart, take off the atty and blow a few drops out. Be sure to wipe down the threaded part before putting it back on your battery.

Dammit, I'm at work and can't watch the video. Thanks, though! Hellen, do the Mega batteries fit in standard AC and PCC chargers, or do they have to be TW chargers? And do they have to have special USB passthroughs? I think I'll get that to tide my husband and I over until I can get some Chucks. Anyone have any recommendations for the kind of model to get for the Chuck? 510, 901, or 801?

I'll be stopping at Petco today after work!

Hmmm, that's odd, since you just got the kit. I got several days' use out of each factory cartridge by continually topping it off after the first filling. A box of 5 blanks should last at least 2 weeks.

I know, my husband just started squirting tobacco juice into blanks when I already had 10 prefilled tobacco carts.

I've been using the Marineland blue foam but I'm not entirely happy with it. Have you tried that material also? I was wondering if you had compared it with the Aquaclear foam.

Max I had a friend give me a piece of that Marineland blue stuff. I didn't like that it seemed to break apart easily (and little blue pieces ended up inside the atty), and that people had to do major rinsing of it along with some reported an odd taste from it.

The AquaClear has a larger open space to it. I cut it longer and wider than the cart and compress it a bit. Have to say, it has performed wonderfully for 2 weeks in my 510. No change to the material at all, and no noticible flavor (but I'm using menthol with it in this particular cart, so that could be masking a slight taste from it, I don't know... I'll have to try it with other flavors).

I'll try it long term in my 801/302 carts next. I just loaded up one a few minutes ago. I don't think I'd want to use it in a 6v mod... I think this is polyurethane? I've been using it with 3.7v (4.2v at charge) battery units.

I searched yesterday for AquaClear posts, and didn't find too many people talking about it (usually the thread goes back to talking about the blue foam or PTB).

I just started a new thread and see what people report.

Red, The MP won't fit the PCC (though, in an emergency, I can use a wide produce rubberband and strap them in, ha... you just need something to hold them in since they are longer than the PCC and the lid won't close.

Since the MP run 4 hours, I usually just take a few along with me charged up so no need for the PCC these days.

Yes, they fit a regular charger. TW also sells a charger that will charge 5 batteries at once.

Since you have the 510 gear already you could get a Chuck with that fitting. You can always buy an adapter to use a different model of atomizer later if you want to (I like the 801/302/BE112 penstyle atomizers since the cartridge is so large, they work great on the battery units).

Thanks so much, Hellen! I have found out that 12 or 18 mg is just too weak for me. The strongest juice I have is 24 mg and it seems perfect. I want some more to mix with the Nhaler flavored juices I got (by the way I LOVE the black raspberry & cream!). I need some stronger juice, I'm almost out! Aahhhhh! I was going to order some more stuff from Rocky Mountain Vapor, but the only unflavored they have is 36 mg. I love the tobacco flavor I got from Cignot. Would the unflavored 36 mg still give the throat hit like the 24 mg tobacco? I'm debating on whether to try the Camel 24 mg (since that's what I smoked) or the unflavored 36 mg? Any advice?

Red, have you checked out TastyVapor yet? His tobacco flavors are getting great reviews (I have other flavors of his, but haven't tried the tobacco yet). He sells high nic. flavored or unflavored liquid, and then a 'Doubler' liquid (zero nic) of the same flavor in the Doubler (your choice and you can have him custom mix flavors)to cut with. The highest he sells that I know of is 48mg (but he may have a bit higher, you can ask him via email or Chat from his site). Geoff is great (and Pecan Pie is on sale this week.... yum!).
