Got my e-power 14650 as my first e-cig. Didn't want to piddle around with the smaller units. I also ordered some extra Resurrectors. I was relying on the instruction manual to explain the different parts, but that thing is a joke!! I know what the atomizer is and the cartridges that came with it. The longer part (twice the size of the atty) I'm assuming is the cartomizer which comes apart into 2 parts. This is what I'm wondering - with the non-atomizer part of the cartomizer, is this where the liquid goes? It doesn't have any filler in it. Is that right? There is filler in the resurrector, so what am I missing here?

Also, I've been watching several videos here and on Youtube and I've seen some folks use a mouthpiece? Isn't that the drip tip? If you use the drip tip to drip with, wouldn't it get juice all over it? I plan to use the atty to test flavors, so I've got to learn to use the atty and cartomizer methods.

Thanks for any help!

Cartomizers are one piece. The Ressurectors come in a white box and are individually packaged.

The kit comes with 2 atomizers and a 5-pack of cartidges. They are in 2 pieces.

You are right about the where the juice goes. It goes in the top part that connects to the atomizer.

Where did you get your kit?? Cause I know many of the E-Power kits come with cartridges that are PREFILLED already

The drip tip goes into the atomizer. The atomizer is shipped with a protective empty sleeve. The sleeve does not have any filler in it. Remove it and toss it in the trash. Cartomizers have filler in them. Hold at a 45 degree angle and start dripping while rotating it. Keep filling until no more liquid will absorb and the top looks slushy. Let it sit on the battery end for about 20 minutes before using it to ensure that the juice has reached down to the bottom. Once it settles, you can sometimes add a few more drops of juice to it. Put the mouthpiece/drip tip on and screw it onto the e-power...enjoy.

If you ordered another pack of Ressurectors (besides the free ones you get with the E-Power) you should have got a free syringe that came with them. I Highly suggest you use it to fill cartos, especially the Ressurectors. They Hold a LOT of juice, especially when your filling them the first time. Dripping into the top will take a LONG time to fill them and if you dont wait long enough for the juice to settle to the bottom, you could easily singe the wick and ruin them.

This was originally posted in another thread for someone who asked how to fill the Ressurectors when she first got her E-Power.
I really really suggest you at least try this. I think youll find it to be much easier than you think it is and it will ensure you dont ruin your Ressurectors bc they werent filled properly.

How to fill a cartomizer with a syringe:

"All you have to do is take the dropper part of the bottle off your juice and fill your syringe with 2ml for a new carto. Take the rubber tip off the carto and carefully insert the needle down the side pushing against the metal. DO NOT go thru the filler because it will move it and you could potentially break a connection and your carto. Slide the needle down the side and go all the way to the bottom. Then slowly start dispensing some juice. Dont dispense it all bc then it won't be evenly distributed. Put alittle in, then take it out and insert the needle in a different spot. I normally do it in 3 spots (in a triangle) I found it distributes the best, but you could just do it in 2, on opposite sides. Make sure the needle is at the bOttom bc then you will not have to wait at all for it to settle. Disperse slowly and you will begin to see the toP of the filler become slushy. It is full then, don't put more. If its a new carto is will def hold 2ml, if your refilling it won't take a lot so pay attention and once it gets alittle slushy stop. While your filling hold a napkin or something under the carto bc if you do it too fast a few drops will come out the battery end. If that happens its only bc you did it too fast and the poly fill didn't absorb quick enough.( that happens to me bc I am impatient and fill it in about 10 sec, so I just hold a paper towel or napkin underneath.) wipe up the drops and put the rubber cap back on the carto. Then put the carto between your hands and rub back and forth spinning the carto quickly. This will insure the liquid is evenly distributed in case you put too much on one side from the syringe.
Now you have a perfectly filled ressurector that is ready to be used right away!"

I know it seems alittle intimadating but it realy is very easy to do. If you follow this you shouldnt have any problems and you will get the hang of it quickly.

Goodluck and if you have any questions about your E-Power let me know.

Youve also been using an ecig for awhile and know how to do it. This is someone that said they just got their FIRST ecig.

The key word I said was that you COULD singe them. Not a definite, but it is very possible. Especially with a big carto like the Ressurectors. It also depends on what juice your using. If its a thick juice it DOES take awhile to settle thru the polyfill so you easily could singe one

I know where the confusion is. I've been there when I bought my first pv in a local cig store. It's the disposable type. It came with pre-filled cartomizers. I didn't know the white cap on top with a hole can be removed so you can refill it. I ended up throwing four of them out of five. I began to experiment with the fifth and last one. I found this vid to describe what I did.

And if you re-read my post, I said to let it sit on the battery end for 20 minutes. There are plenty of ways to fill any type of cartomizer but not everyone is comfortable with a syringe. Also, the condom method will sometimes work but not always with longer carto's.

Yep, I got mine from CCV. And I do plan on trying the syringe method because I did get one. Thanks everyone for the explanation about the empty part that I can trash and the drip tip part. It would have been nice if the instruction manual had explained that, but I can tell that whoever wrote this does not use English as his first language!

I also realized that I made a mistake when ordering the liquid. After reading on this forum, I had planned on going with a higher PG mix, but the liquid I chose is 80% VG. Newbie mistake. I read that a higher VG ratio can become gunky in the carto. So I plan to do some research on what I can do about that.

Thanks again everyone!

Just wondering why CCV is not carrying E-Power Mega Dual Coils in their site. They're Ego's MDCC counterpart. They fit perfectly on the E-Power housing without a gap as seen in photos. I'm just beginning to like these fatter cartos. A 510-510 extender had to be added in my E-Power to be able to use the EMDCC and it wiggles. E-Power MDCCs will make your E-P a complete continuous unit. You can't use the cone with fatter cartos, anyway.
