Just got my first ever e-cig....

I just received my Dse901 ($32.99 Shipped). This is my first Ever E-Cig I ordered it on 5/20/2009 and got it today. I bought it from:

I put the extra battery on the charger, gonna let it charge for the full time... I then took the already assembled ecig to my lips and gave it a try.. so far it does not produce as much vapor as I'd like, also tasted a bit like burnt plastic.... I know that it may be the cart and/or battery level.. So once the other battery is charged i can try it out with a new cart and fresh battery, but I was in need of some input.. and since all i read so far is helpful comments from everyone i figured I'd ask on here.

A. How can I tell if this is a "real 901"?

B. I'm gonna try refilling my own carts, where is the best place/places (quality/and price) to order juice from? geographically I'm in East Tennessee. Keep in Mind I'm probably looking for more Vapor + throat hit as opposed to flavor selections.

C. Where is the best place to order replacement parts (atomizers, chargers, batteries etc)for these? the same place i got them from? or are there better / closer alternatives?

D. Any other tips tricks you can reccomend for a new beginner...

Just make sure your order gets sent by EMS. You will get a tracking number that will also be used by USPS when it gets to the States.

Yea, their prices seem to be the best. Don't know much about the quality as I have just make my first order.

The burnt taste is probably the primer they put on the atomizer coil. If you had some juice I would tell you to drip a couple of drops on the coil to help take away that taste. But you will just have to burn it away.

I got a bit more vapor with a fresh cart, and charged battery, seems like this will be satisfying, and hopefully help me give up analogs for good. I ordered some of the High level wicked E liquid (Camel Flavor) . I really want to try some flavors, but do the flavors all have the high vapor/throat hit? what kind of juice do you guys use prefer, any input is appreciated! I don't want to spend 30$ on some flavored liquid I wont like.... I think I'm gonna order an extra charger and a couple atomizers, maybe another battery, any other recommended accessory purchases? Do they make a portable travel charging case for the 901 batteries?

Congratz on staying smoke free Relapsed once because of a broken atomizer but now I'm making sure that doesn't happen again I have a 901 also but started with a Npro. First thing you should do is get the Manual USB passthrough, extra atty's and manual batteries. Of course, juice and carts.

I also use a Janty MiniFogger *can believe I haven't seen more post on that one* It produces so much vapor *almost too much* It's very thick smoke. In the morning, I hit the fogger as my first fix of the day then move to my 901 and puff away. LOL

Moving up to a 510 with manual batteries now and probably a SD/Prodigy when they are more availible. Glad my wife doesnt' mind me experimenting with new toys. She's just happy I don't smoke any more. Pretty soon, I'll have a self filled with these things. Really like them all for different reasons.

Ordered a bunch of juice recently but only have some of the Jacob's creek 18mg vials at the moment. I could smoke the Tennesee cured all day long. It's just a nice mellow smoke. Artic mint is good for a change and mild. Wild cherry is umm strong and not my taste. Peach cobbler is good and I smoke that quite a bit. The original tobacco, much rather the cured.

Congratulations on your purchase and good luck with vaping, you are off to a good start. Just wanted to mention that this Kensington - Portable Power Pack for Select Mobile Devices - Black - K38021 has been a great thing for many. Of course it is not on sale right now. Alot of us were able to purchase it a couple of months ago for 39.99 on sale. It will surpass the tube type battery life by a mile. You can also find other brands, so I suggest you do a search. Just make sure that they have the same output as this, to fire the vaporizer at it's optimal power. This is something you should consider if you have problems with the batteries for the vaporizer. This will bring the vaporizer up to the comparable lenght of battery life (or more) of the Screwdriver or simular mods.

Good luck to you, keep with it. There is alot to learn. I am sure we will shortly see you trying other pv's as well, it just seems to be part of the addiction. =)

You'll have to let me know how well you like the Wicked Camel juice. I've been a camel smoker since I started and I wanted to order some of their juice after I get my e-cig.

The Juice is good, It took some adjustment, but I like, it, the only problem with it is, the odor (when you are close enough to smell it) is not as pleasant as the fruity flavors etc, it definitely is a tobacco camel flavor.. but i am willing to bet if you get some camel juice, soon you'll want something more pleasant to taste on.. I just moved to aromaejuice.com's Grape and it is delicious, and everyone around me loves the grape scent it puts out!

im new to this whole ecigarette thing and as stupid as they may be, i have some questions that idea really appreciate some help with.

i ordered a really bad pv as my first, just to test out the waters and see how i felt about it, but i cant get it to work.

theres a foil covering on the inside of the cartridges sealing off the liquid and i wanted to know if that was normal.

if it is how do i go about getting it off?


i ordered a yeti today and i hoping its easier to handle then this garbage

any advice to a newb is welcome.
