Just got my first provari!

I just ordered my first from someone! very very exited, I gota V1 satin with red Led. Im upgrading from a lavatube copy and am hearing nothing but good things. I have a few ?'s though!
I use 18650 batts in my LT and have an 18650 charger, is there anyway I can use this with my regular prvari 18490 batts? or am i gonna needd a new charger, its like 600 mah current max on the charger.
Also, I really really am loving the blue led display, anyone know of a way I can have mine sent in and just swap the Led's out? or a way I can just get the led displays and do em myself ( dont question my solder skills.... TRUST me on this one) I once resoldered an entire PSP surface mount CPU... sooo soldering is in my blood LOL.

I have the LT knockoff too, and the simple charger that came with it... The charging logic should be the same even though the cell size is different. Since the batts are a different size, you'd need a spacer (or the charger would need to have spring-loaded terminals such as the Tenergy one included with the Provari V2 kit, but the one that came with my LT knockoff doesn't).

I was going to comment on whether I'd charge an AW on the simple charger, but I doubt the Tenergy is that much more advanced... (saving up for the PILA myself )

I will give you an example...
Today my Provaris little brother arrived, a mini... way cool..
With my order they forgot to incluce the collectors edtition spider end cap... I got right on my computer and e-mailed Provape.
Within minutes I recived a e-mail back saying they would ship me one right away.... followed by an e-mai stating my order had shipped/tracking number included.... Now thats fast service....

I just got mine today, and I can tell you it is far above a lavatube. I cant believe that I waited so long to pull the trigger and buy a Provari. I was vaping my 3.0 ohm cartos on the lavatube @ 5.8 - 6.0 Volts. I vape the same carto on my Provari @ 5.0 Volts and get better results. I was hooked on it the first time I fired it up and had my first vape on it! I think you will enjoy it, it is a great device!

The only reason I even own my two LTs was mod withdrawal waiting for the darn blue LEDs (seriously, bought both since the first announcement of the delay..) They're both put away now, only for use in hazardous situations such as pool parties or gallagher performances where I'm afraid to risk the provari getting damaged or stolen, or to loan to friends...

One of the funny things to me is I figured I'd be messing around with the voltage all the time, but with the smoktek DCT 2.0 DC, 2.5 DC and 3.0 SC cartos, they all work great at the default 4.0 and I can just enjoy the exact same consistency of the vape all the way through the batteries charge cycle until blinky time. The only time I ever mess with the voltage is when they start gunking up and changing resistance too much, just to get that last little bit of life out of them before swapping out for a new one.

well, im pretty much all over the place with my voltages throughout the day, when I first get up my voltage is low, I like a nice cool hit before I start my day, as the day progresses it gets pushed up as I need that throat hit. then before bed its backed down again and i like that nice light vaping before bed! super excited, I just found out mine should be here today!

I was adjusting my voltage a lot more on the LT than I have with the ProVari -- mostly trying to keep the LT giving a consistent vape due to its' inaccuracy / battery fade... Now I rarely need to touch it, which feels kinda ironic. I can appreciate liking different vapes at different times of the day / needing a little boost (or cooling off) now and then, though.

I remember 0-day for my order, that was the worst mailbox stalking I think I've done since I switched to ecigs LOL

oh man Blue you dont even know! I have been cyber stalking this one on the usps site waiting to hear it dropped at my door, my boss at work knows im waiting and once it hits the steps im taking the rest of the day off! hahaha my LT has been fritzy for the last few days so this is like waiting for a bar of gold to show up!

I rushed home right after work to find my provari sitting on the kitchen counter.... Wow.... I have no words to even describe this thing ... not what I was expecting at all... 10 times better!!!!

Even before I took the first vape off mine I had the same reaction. The solid feel of it. The smoothness of the treads when I screwed the battery cap on.
It is one very well made APV. I hope you enjoy it.

And the heft... I'm not a scrapper, but I'm pretty sure it would mess someone up bad if they got punched by someone holding one (thinking like the roll of quarters technique...)

I had the same thought when I first got mine. I guess it should get added to the list of things the Provari will do for you.
