Ordered my PV few days back and just received it...
Its been more then 4 hours since my last analog....
Filled the tank 3/4 full with battery fully charged before using.
Now, checking back on the juice.. i have already consumed more then half of it...
Is my consumption of juice(0.6% / 6mg) normal?
My analogs are of 0.7mg nic

:confused::confused::confused:

Hey :) I just got my ego-t yesterday, I love it!

I agree with Sissylala in 6mg seeming low for kicking the habit. It's an individual thing of course though, do you feel satisfied or physically withdrawn from analogs? From your post, and having the same e-cig as you, 4 hours seems like you were drawing on it a lot. Which is totally ok, and there are variables in how people drag, but I'm using mine pretty heavily and have a hard time using a cart a day if that's any perspective. Which...really it isn't I guess due to personal usage habits and quirks. If you feel good, then good!

I smoked about 1/2 pad. More if I was stressed or had coffee or alcohol. Went with 24mg, and it's been great so I highly recommend fwiw. Also if you hold the button down 1-3 seconds before dragging I find it's a warmer inhale which is nice.

Welcome to the ECF Exodus! Congrads on your 1st day and on the new toy:vapor: If you If you don't feel like you are having a nic fit than you are fine with what you have but if you feel like you can't put the thing down than you will need to go up in nic a ways.If you do end up going up I would recommend just buying 24mg and a bottle of 0 nic in the same flavor so that you can adjust the nic down from there and not lose any of the flavor. You can take it down also with some VG from wal mart if you need to but that will dull the flavor. Good luck on your journey:)

till now i feel that i can do w/o the analogs, but only at the price of drawing from the PV more often...
I would be on the PV for a good 5 mins(which equates to the amt of time spent on an analog) and then drawing from PV 2 -3 times while going abt my daily stuff..
Yeah i do hold the button down for 1 -1.5 secs before drawing on it and continiue to draw a little longer after i release..

Thank you for the welcome!
Yeah i might just do what you guys recommended.
regarding what you have mentioned (24mg + 0mg).. if i understand you correctly, im suppose to dilute the 24mg with the 0mg if i find 24mg too much?

Good Morning Exodus,
I think I see part of you delema if I understand you method correctly. On an eGo you don't hold down the button, draw, and continue to press. You place the PV in your mouth and draw while you hold the button when you're done with the draw then let go of the button. Don't hold the button for that 1 - 1.5 seconds; that's just a waste of your e-juice. Your eGo is more than capable of handling your immediate and during draw.

As for your choice in e-juice I would have to agree that 0.06% is pretty low even if you only hit ½ a PAD. My theory is that you are vapeing all you juice away because your body is used to the Nic level from analogs and your reflex action is to get that Nic level so you use your PV more. Have you ever tried to switch to light analogs? I know when I did I found myself smoking more so I could reach that same level of Nic and it was totally involuntary. I would try a 24 mg juice if I were you. I don't know where you got the information that your analogs were 0.7 mg of nicotine but that does sound a bit low. I would recheck your source.

I was also wondering what juice you are using and where you got it form?

I just came back to edit this. I found an ECF Sticky that is posted by Rolygate in a thread titled "Is a Carto Equal to a Pack of Cigarettes." This is a more realistic calculation that I am quoting from the thread.
Notes

[1] A tobacco cigarette contains between 13mg and 23mg of nicotine (US gov figures).
The smoke from a tobacco cigarette contains about 1mg of nicotine (usually 0.9mg to 1.1mg).

An e-cigarette carto contains 0 nicotine or more often from 6mg to 36mg of nicotine (if a carto holds ~1ml of liquid, and the liquid strength is 36mg/ml, then it will contain about 36mg of nicotine).
The amount of nicotine in the vapor from 1 carto (or more relevant: from 10 minutes of use) has never been measured (or at least this has never been published) [3].

[2] Most smokers measure at around 25ng/ml, some exceed 40ng/ml. There are smokers who can be classified as 'super-light users' whose blood plasma nic level is very low. They are not the majority.

[3] There is one test, of an unusual model not widely available. The result is not sufficiently well supported to base calculations on.
