Searched, but did not find anything!

OK, got it in from fasttech today. Popped a AW LMR in the way the manual indicated (negative in first, positive towards the cap). Turned it on and battery volts read 0.0 and atomizer showed NON. Tried several different batteries, all brand new and fully charged. Nothing! It would also blink red or 8 seconds and turn off if I hit the power button and tried to vape.

On a whim, since I know the device is protected, I put the battery in backwards (positive in and negative out towards the cap) and everything reads now. OK, so it got wired backward I think (chinese QC whatcha gonna do huh?), no biggie as long as it works I think, lets proceed.

So I hit the button and start making clouds, but then it cuts out. I double check everything and try again, same thing, vapes then cuts off. So I get it positioned to where I can watch the color of the button and in mid push it will fade in and out. Green and making clouds, then the color fades out, comes back on, fades out, etc. It won't stay!

So to summarize, it works, but only with the battery in backwards, and the light, and subsequently power, cuts in and out.

Thoughts? fixes? Should I return it? Very dissapointed!

Your sure it isnt a protected battry

Protected batteries can cause problems when used with devices like the SVD. I know you stated LMR, which I took as a typo and translated as IMR, IMR are recommended for devices like the SVD.

Going with the IMR, and considering the performance you have noted, I would try contacting them again, Fasttech has gotten a reputation for good service, although my understanding is it can take a day or two for email responses.

Maybe someone who has used Fasttechs customer service will come along and give you the secret code to get an Engrish speaking customer service rep.

Edit, found this manual on Innokins site. iTaste SVD USER MANUAL - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin

The intermittent hit and miss thing was me just not pushing the button hard enough. This button is different from the twist. The twist has basically 2 positions, off or on and a firm click when you depress it. This has a bit of resistance to the push so you really have to mash it down to get full power. If you don't it will fade in and out.

I just got mine in yesterday and installed the battery today for the first time. Having problems similar to thread starter.

So the Positive end goes in first???

I've been sticking the negative in first as the manual says. I really don't want this LiMn to blow my nether regions to bits experimenting.

YES - the INSTRUCTIONS ARE WRONG!!!!!
Other than that, it's a great device - flip battery around and enjoy!
(fortunately, the SVD DOES have "reverse battery protection" - so no harm has been done).

Yes positive goes in first, like with most devices. I don't remember even getting a manual with mine I just unscrewed the cap and shoved a battery in like any other flashlight :)

I haven't had the button issue with mine. 3 clicks turns on and then hold down +/- to unlock the VV/VW and good to go. I didn't get mine from fasttech though. Their prices are really good but too many threads about problems with devices. Maybe someday I'll go for it. Ehh... probably not. :)

Don't do it, dude. I know that the prices are tempting but It will take you OVER a month to get your stuff and that's if you're lucky and you get it at all.

I've ordered from them twice. The last time was on November 30th. So far I have yet to receive anything from them except excuses.

It's the Innokin instruction manual, and yes, you'd think they'd fix it!
It was my first "mod" so I read the instructions and followed them like you...
But like I said - mine works perfectly, and it's been about 6 months...

Awesome.

It looks so cool. It's quite big. I'm using an 18650 with 2000 mAh so it should last almost as long as my MVP2 between chargings. :2cool:

That's the story I've read a lot. That's one of the reasons why I've stayed away from them. The other is that there's way too many people who have problems with their gear and it's generally because of it being cheap counterfeits of what they were ordering. I prefer to spend a little more and have a US based company I can call.

This I did not know, but now that you mention it. I just received an order today from FastTech that I ordered a month and a week ago. And it did not have that scratch and see the security code so that you can go to Innokin's web site to confirm it's authenticity. It did however have the remnants (glue, little bit of paper stuck on) of a sticker that apparently used to be there. It was removed and not by me.

DAAAAAAAMN.

This is a warning, people.
