What tanks are you using? I've been having some threading issues. Shame cause this things hits like god and devil finally got along.
I got the SS Vamo V3 from fasttech and so far I am really happy with it. Everyone I have seen post hates the look of the grooves in it. I actually like them. I suppose I am strange.

Greetings all. I too ordered and received two Vamo starter kits from Fasttech. I am having issues with mine (both units) and wondered if someone with a working unit could give me a clue as to how they are supposed to work. The units ship without instructions of any kind and so i am currently working with tech support on the fasttech site.

I ordered (2) 13.594.02 kits which are the charger, two CGR18650CH batteries, and the vamo. I got it delivered in California in twelve days. Charger and batteries work. I measure 6.5 to 7.5 v on my analog VOM on each fully charged battery.

When I put the battery in the tube, the LCD blinks three times and then does nothing. I verified the polarity is correct when I insert them in the tube.

No matter what button or combination of buttons I press the screen remains dark and there is no voltage output. I suspect the batteries are incorrect for this unit or the device is faulty.

Anyone care to share your comments with me? Fasttech responds very slowly to my inquiries.

By the way the cartridge I chose to use with the vamo is the BCC Mega from ESMOKA. This is my carto of choice. Rebuildable, holds lots of juice and it maintains good flavor (not the burnt liquid taste I experienced from other cartos) It is serving me well over the last three weeks. Very trouble free.

Thank you all for your responses, I joined the ECF forum in 2008 and have not smoked a cigarette since!

First, did you turn it on? Insert batteries, click 5 times, the unit turns on, the screen read on. Don't click too fast or too slow

You need to go here to get a user manual http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/359600-vamo-vv-vw-v2-user-manual-download.html

Pitzer- Dumb answer but I know every time I change batts I click the fire button 5-10 times fast and it will the say system on...supposed to be 5 times but sometimes it takes more, hope that helps.
If anyone gets a vamo I will say buy a 510 adaptor for it and leave it on so you never strip the threads, I hate it makes it look funny but so far no problems and just have to hold with finger so it does not unsrew when removing my aga t2. Strapped

Thank you for the heads up. By the way I am a huge Patriots Fan! I have my own jersey with my name and number on it. (McDermitt 41) I played on high school team called the Patriots back in the seventies. The Brady years have been the best. Very sad to see Welker leave for Denver but the offense will be just fine. Here's hoping our defense steps up!

Thank you for the response. I am grabbing the download recommended by Boston Jim This is more info than I recieved from fasttech support in the past 4 days!

Glad we could help, I say "WE" because it was the whole forum passing on information that I was able to pass on to you what others passed on to me.

You can't win in the play-offs when you let people like Flacco march up and down the field.

So my VAMO I bought from vaporbreak came in yesterday, I had it sent to my work and was off. I opened the box this morning and there it was. The stainless steel VAMO! It looks great, the buttons are nice and they match. The threads on this thing are wonderful, much better than i expected. After reading reviews from vaporbreak I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones who got their VAMO through VB.

I bought my first Vamo V2 from Vaporbreak a few months ago before Fasttech carried them. I have the black chrome model (have carbon fiber wrap on it). Since I bought mine, I have ordered 2 more for other people (regular chrome model V2's). These 2 however were ordered from Fasttech. Honestly, my Vamo from Vaporbreak seems more solid. I don't know what it is. It feels like it has more "heft" to it. Also, both the Fasttech Vamos I ordered had MINOR quality issues. On one, the + button is finicky. Sometimes you have to press real hard, multiple times to increase volts/watts. The other VAMO has a screen issue. The screen is off centered so the little LED light shines very bright between the left of the screen and the Vamo's body. My Vaporbreak did not and has not had any issues. Not saying the Fasttech Vamo is no good, but It seems weird that 2 that I ordered from Fasttech have issues and the one from Vaporbreak didn't.

All this aside though - I'd NEVER order from Vaporbreak again because I too feel like I was a lucky one. Some of the horror stories I read where people get DOA gear and having a hell of a time returning/getting refund or exchange. Vaporbreak asking the customers to send them videos of the problem. Plus the shipping time is TERRIBLE. I get my Fasttech orders in about 7 days. I also hear Fasttech's customer service is pretty good. Have not used myself yet though.

All I use is my Vamo, I love it! Good luck with yours!
