Baditude, I've got gallons if it sitting in my e-liquid kitchen just waiting... One of the components needed to age and I've been, of course, checking it religiously. It's turned the corner and is mellowing out just right but isn't quite there. I'll make up a tester probably this weekend to see how close it is. Based on smell, I'd say it needs a couple more weeks but it's definitely closing in fast!

Great - can't wait - I am so happy its on the way - I absolutely love KCM! Thanks Annette!

I've been patiently waiting since April, I finished my KCM in May and really love this the most. In May I bought the Kona Velvet & Kona Carmel to try, they're both good but won't replace my KCM.

At your prodding, I checked the KCM again yesterday and it may be much closer to ready than I thought! It seems like it suddenly reached a tipping point and is now quickly becoming its full glorious self! I'll try it this weekend and will hopefully have good news! Fingers crossed!

As many of the regulars here know, I was a huge KCM fan. It was my all day, every day vape from the day that I first tried it.

Then I received 4 1oz bottles in February that after a short time started tasting "harsh". The longer I had them the worse they got. When I tried to address that with you back in early April, you brushed it off and suggested that I trade them with someone else to find a juice I like better. HUH?!?

I finally sent a bottle to a regular VV customer to ask her opinion. Wanted to make sure it wasn't just my tastebuds that had gone wonky. The KCM was unvapable for her also. There was indeed something wrong with it. So after having spent $79 on juice that was unvapable and your unwillingness to address the problem in any way, shape or form, I have since sadly moved on to other vendors.

I'm saying all of this to say that I think that you're a lovely person and you certainly have a knack for making great tasting juice, but I'm just extremely disappointed in the way that you've handled the KCM issue. The lack of transparency and the unwillingness to address the problem with your regular customers just leaves me scratching my head about your chosen business practices.

I hope that in the future you will choose to be brutally honest when a problem arises AND that you'll be willing to work with any customer who has a problem. Customer satisfaction is equally as important as providing a good product.

Gloria, I was very honest and open about the problem with the taste of the KCM as soon as it came up and immediately pulled the flavor from my website as well as replaced any bottles that were sent out to customers from this batch.

You wrote me after I had pulled the flavor and publicly announced the problem. You said you weren't sure if it was just your taste buds being off, but you asked me to check for you if your order from two months prior could have been from the problem batch as you thought it didn't taste the way you remembered the flavor. I double checked but your order had gone out long before I had reordered the problem flavor so there was no way your bottles were mixed from the problem batch. I would have been happy to replace them for you if your bottles were from the problem batch as I did for other customers but yours were not. I figured this flavor just wasn't to your liking or else you were right and your taste buds were off, especially since you said at first it tasted fine. I mentioned trading them for something else because you, in your e-mail to me, mentioned giving them away.

I wrote you:

"I double checked to see when you ordered these and it was long before we got in the batch that is off so I don't think the problem you are having with them is related to any changes in the ingredients. I'm sure there are others who would love to trade with you for them though, so perhaps you can get something else that you will like better."

You have reordered from me four times since the above interaction and have not said anything further to me about this since until now. You make it sound as if I have been ignoring you, hiding something from you and brushing you off and I just don't feel that is true. I honestly don't know what you would have expected differently from me. I guess all I can say is that I'm very sorry if you felt that I didn't do right by you. That was certainly not my intention.

I sent you an email on 6/26 but didn't receive a response. Maybe it was overlooked. That happens to the best of us.

A customer friendly response to my issue would have been, "Why don't you send me a bottle and let me try it and see if we can figure out why it's tasting off to you." At least I would have felt like my business was appreciated and my problem was being addressed.

Suggesting that I trade them to someone to find something that I like better certainly felt like a "brush off" to me. I had just ordered 120 mil of KCM!! I didn't want another juice. All I wanted was good tasting KCM and help in figuring out why it was no longer tasting good. After getting that response I didn't see any point in communicating with you about it any further.

If nothing else, I've learned one very important lesson from this experience...
1) don't get too attached to any one juice

At any rate, it's all water under the bridge. I harbor no ill will toward you Annette and wish you only the best.

120 ml is a lot of juice, agreed. And you had ordered that juice before and knew what it should have tasted like steeped and pre-steeped. I wish that this could have been resolved better.

The velvet milkshake is my #1 fav juice. I often wonder what I'd do if it became unavailable. I've really been looking forward to trying the KC milkshake but its been OOS since I began vaping. I did find another vendor who hinted that his/her juice was as good as the KCM; I did order it because Annette's has been OOS. It was good upon delivery, but something was just a little off, put it away to steep a while.

Update:

After allowing the above mentioned juice from the other vendor 2 weeks to steep, I can give a mini-review followup. I won't, however, name this other juice vendor or the name of the juice. I'll only state that it too is a coffee flavor.

This juice is medium-dark (a dark reddish amber) upon delivery, and like many juices, darkens with maturity. It was ordered in a 70/30vg mix @ 18mg nic. Vaped @ 3.7 vt. Over all, this juice is VERY similar to the KVM, but where KVM leans toward a hint of caramel, the other juice hints more to mocha. Both are rich, complex, sweet, and creamy.

In a very tight race, I prefer KVM over the rival juice, by a hair. I love both juices, but I must like the creamy caramel hint over the creamy mocha flavor.
