This Morning when I got home from the GF's condo, (I live in an apartment 4th floor) the elevator was occupied by someone moving in. Now I do use the stairs to go down quite often but hate using them to go up, as I always have to stop before last flight to catch my breath.

Fyi I'm only 55 and had smoked over a pad for 40 of those years, I'm 5'6" about 165 lbs and not overweight by any means however I had to use the stairs and I thought hmmm, why not I do feel way better and my breathing has improved so,let's do this.

Well I started out first flight at a good pace then the second, almost there I slowed but just slightly for the third and didn't stop before tackling the forth and final, set, at the top I stood just to simply see how I felt and was amazed at the difference I felt, it was amazing.

Now don't take me wrong I don't intend to run a marathon or anything but I really impressed myself.

Today I won a major battle with the stairs, now maybe I should move to an apartment with 5 floors lol:)

Just had to tell this little victory of mine. Ty for listening. Well reading.

That is great....and fun too !
I ( 40 yr. PAD 'burro red' 55 yo) race the high school 'kids' up the stairs after lunch.
Today, we took a walking tour of the historical district of our town...many of the kids could not keep up. (LOL)
Looked back...told some of the boys to 'keep up with the 'old man' !
(I thought it was hysterical... could tell they did not !)

Lets see if the middle schoolers can keep up with DJ RyckRak tonight ???

So they're the same thing but one is rented and one is bought? Hmmm...I wonder why you'd have different names for them... cool!x

Initially condos were like tightly packed houses usually with shared walls, some single story, some multiple stories. But now we have "high-rise" condos which are nothing more than apartments that are over-priced. We have different names because one denotes ownership and the other denotes being a renter. Plus the word condo fools people into believing something is worth more than it really is.
