Just ordered a bunch of stuff!

I just placed an order a few hours ago and I'm so excited to be getting new gear! Gadgets gadgets gadgets!

I just got back from fishing in Alaska, and I promised myself that I would quit smoking when I got back (because e-cigs don't survive the Bering sea...) I still have 2 cartons left and about 5 days till my order gets here, so I should have a pretty easy time weening myself off of the cigarettes. I was happy with my Halo G6 starter kit that I ordered back in December for a while, but it felt like it was time to upgrade and try some new stuff. The battery cutoff on the G6 was only about 5 seconds or so, too short for me I felt, and I don't really like refilling the cartomizers.

So I ordered a bunch of stuff from Revolver e-cigs. I got the Gemini2 deluxe starter kit, which came with 2 batteries, a personal charging case, an atomizer, a drip tip, and 5 prefilled cartomizers. Then I ordered an extra atomizer, a tank atomizer, some tank cartridges, and a few of the prefilled cartomizers in the clearance section. I also got a 5 pack of CE3 extra large "smokeymizers" to try out, they look like they'll last all day on one fill.

Then I went to ecigxpress and ordered a bunch of flavors, and right before I checked out, I saw LED lit clearomizers! I've got 3 of those coming in, one of them is pink, and I'm going to see if it's possible to disassemble it and solder a different LED in there, I've had these blue and red flashing ones that have been laying around forever I'll take videos/pictures and post something up if I'm successful.

I'm really happy to be switching from the KR808 model to a 510, there's so much cool stuff for the 510! I have a question though, I ordered a low resistance atomizer from revolver, but after I placed the order I was surfing on youtube and found a video that said LR attys kill normal batteries, is that true? If it is I need to call or e-mail the guys at revolver and see if I can get them to switch my LR atty for a regular one.

Sorry this is such a waste of time, shopping list type post, but I'm excited and I had to tell somebody that might get it ha ha

I heard that LR atty's are not a good idea on the regular 510 because it either kills the batts or it drains them way too quick. The 510 batt's are usually less that 220 mah and dont last a long time to begin with, last thing you want to do is drain them faster. I have a 510-T kit and the batteries last about an hour and a half before they need to be recharged on a standard resistance atty. I didnt see what the mah rating was on the G2 kit you mentioned. Hope this helps.

The LR's will be fine on any batt 650 Mah and over.

^ This is the truth. 650mah and hiher is safe but if you got a standard 510 battery (Pen Style) and the Mah doesn't match then don't even fiddle around with it. I accidentally put a LR atty on a pen style once and just about burned my lip off after 1 draw from the thing. The battery shut off seconds after. It's just a mess. It's prolly not intentionally worth the risk. Buy a new Battery or cheap kit for the time being if you wanna use LR's Congrats on sticking to the vaping and get off the Death Sticks!

Yes, the kit looked like a slim ecig and you can only use SR cartomizers and atomizers on it.

They work for about 2 hits, then the LED's burn out. They still work like regular clearos, but don't waste the money.

I assume we are talking about the same thing. They come in a pack of 5, look and perform the same as CE2's and cost $4 more per pack? Yeah, I had 1 pack, in each clearo, the LED's would light once or twice and never shine again. Cool idea, weak implementation.

I sent a message and asked if they would switch the LR atty for me, thanks for the info guys. I don't know what my batteries are rated at, but the XL batteries are only rated at 280mah so I'm guessing the regular ones I'm getting are lower.

I did absolutely no research on these things ha ha, they were just shiny so they ended up in my shopping cart.
