I know all these products well, they may be necessary and even helpful and I'm NOT saying don't buy one AT ALL, but there's something about them that sort of seem like.... a concession of defeat.

you can make your own with a tube (tp tube, paper towell tube, any tube) and dryer sheets and just stuf and layer it inside the tube and take some and cover the end and rubber band them around the end.

Except that would look totally conspicuous. I had suggested in the past to do this with a drink cup from a fast food place. Glue the straw to the lid and trim it short on the inside. stuff the bottom with whatever filter you want and make a small hole in the bottom of the cup for the exhaust. Now using that it just looks like you are taking a drink instead of doing something illegal.

Or hold the vaper in slightly longer and exhale the remaining into your shirt or a handkerchief/bandana.....
