I decided to drop the analogs and jump right into the e-cig phenom by ordering an eGO T Type B low resistance kit from thevaporshop.net. I'm very excited but after thorough research I still have a few questions.

A.) How much juice should I plan on purchasing to get started. I bought 2, 5ml bottles with the kit. How long might this last?

B.) If I do this right could the eGO T save me money, any tips on how to do so?

C.) Can I buy pre filled carts for it and is this a valuable option?

D.) And finally, do you have to replace the tanks after one use?

Thanks for the help guys, I'll post some feedback as soon as it arrives and I get to puff it!

welcome, i think you will like the ego-t. i have the A style and its nice.
a. find a juice you like. it will depend on how much you vape as to how long it will last but you will need more. alot of people seem to go through 3-5 ml per day.
b. unless you go wild buying different juices and parts...like alot of us then you will save money. you will sure be healthier, lol.
c. i believe you can buy prefilled cartos but i havent.
d. no, your tanks are reusable for a long time. the cap snaps off at the top and you fill it and replace the cap and pop into attie.

i believe the B style holds more juice than my A does. my A hold like 1 ml. and lasts me half the day at work but i puff alot too.
what size battery did you get? i have a 1000mah and can go all day with no charges.
get some 510 lr or 306lr atties to drip with and test different juices. when i got mine i filled the tank with some juive i didnt care for and it was either vape it and try to like it or dump it out. the 510s will allow you to drip a couple drops in, pop on a drip tip and try flavors.
be sure to blow out your new atties before use into a paper towel then add your liquid. there is a lubricant inside you wont want to puff.

I would order some more juice , but not 30 ml. size , until you find ones you like . If you buy a big bottle , and don't like it . Too bad , so sad . I have been at this for about 4 or 5 months , and some days I use 3 mls. of juice . Other days , I barely use 2 ml. So it's really up to you . It's very easy to vape all the time , so it's also easier to use more juice . But the carto option , is a good one to consider . Good luck , and welcome to the forums .

It's been sorta answered, but I'd like to toss in a bit of extra info.

A: When I started, I bought 3 10-15ml bottles. Of the 3, I have 1 of them left with maybe 1ml in it. But, I have quite a few different flavors here. My favorite flavors, the 10ml bottles take a weekish to go through, more for less-favorite, less for OMG-I-Can't-Set-This-Down flavors.

B: It can save you money, yes. Here's my advice. When I was smoking analogs, I was spending $200/month. I spend probably around that on vaping accessories/flavors/new pvs now. Set yourself a budget, I spent 40-50 a week on analogs, so if I spend 30 a week on flavors and such, I'm saving money. Don't just say "Ha! I don't have to buy anything else, and I can have 200/month" that doesn't really work well...unless you have herculean will-power. And make sure you have backups.

C: I never tried pre-filled carts. I'd just as soon get mine blank and fill them myself, that's what I'm going to be doing with them anyhow. I don't feel it's all that valuable, but, I suppose that the 10-20 drops of liquid you're getting from the vendor for free(?) isn't going to hurt anything....just make sure you like the flavor, otherwise you've got 5 carts full of a flavor you don't want to vape.

D: The tanks on the eGo-T are pretty nifty. The plastic they're made of is non-porous, it doesn't absorb much flavor/scent at all. A rinse with hot water takes most of it out. I used to take mine apart after about 2-3 days of heavy use. A paperclip fits in the mouth-piece end and you can remove the two little stopper blocks that keep the liquid from coming to your mouth. Then I would soak them in hot water for a few minutes, fish them out and let the whole thing dry before putting it back together. Wallah, easy peasy, lemon-squeezy.

Hope thing helped,
-X

My wife and I both have the Ego T type Bs. We got some duel coil cartomizers from mad vapes also. The cartomizers are easy to use, just fill and go. After a learning curve with wick adjustment and atty cleaning I'm really enjoying the tanks and atty.

My wife has given up on attys and has given hers to me LOL. I would order small bottles of juice until you find what you like. Then figure out how to make your own LOL I found most of my juice making equipment at tractor supply.

Read all you can here on ECF about your PV and ask questions. There are many smart helpful people here. The ego has it's own specific thread and is very helpful. Check out cig not and vickies videos. Don't get discouraged with the tanks like my wife, I would suggest about 5 dual coil cartomizers from madvapes, just to ease things along. That's how I kept my wife going lol. good luck and welcome to the world of vaping.
