Just ordered my Lavatube from Liberty Flights got 2 AW IMR Batt's and I originally was going to get two 1.5 dct's and two 2.0's but then after reading around I switched the order to four 2.0 dct's

I got this to replace my Littleman from Krimson kustoms and I loved it but I think I vaped that at around 4 volts so Im hoping with the 2.0 dct's I should be satisfied really excited going to be my second mod really can't wait to get it this lr ego isn't doing it anymore lol

Hey, that was a good deal at LF. I got mine from Apollo with a couple mystery IMR Batts. They're doing o.k., but they ain't AWs.

What resistance were you using when you were vaping at 4 volts? Be aware that the Lavatube is going to limit your voltage at 2.0 ohms. From what I've been hearing, DC's aren't the best for a Lavatube, so you might want to pick up some single coils if you can find the long size the DCT requires. You'll probably want some std 3ohm cartos around anyway in case you have trouble with the DCT. Watch PBusardo's Great review on Youtube. He graphed out all the voltages the LT will supply with different ohm cartos. Really good review. It'll give you an idea of what to expect with your cartos. It'll also show you a problem you might run into making a DCT fire on a Lavatube. You might need to pull your post or get a 510/510 extender.

It's a cool machine though. Personally, I tried the DCT and didn't much like it. I've been using a Vision Stone all day. It's nice and clean, fits the LT like it was made for it, but kind of expensive and getting repair guts is going to be an issue. Think I'll pick up a J tank. That works good with standard 3ohm Boges and fits the LT with no issues.

I second this. Those vision stones (make sure they are V2 ones, I had to make silicon rings for my v1s) are excellent if you like ceramic carto's. They do fire up very nicely. I like the SmokTech dual and single coil 2.5's in the DCT. the 3.0 just didn't seem to plume up on me, but they do work better with one or 2 juices I have.

I was using 1.5 Dct on my old mod at 4 volts im hoping with 2.0 ohm dct's it should be okay if not i'm gonna try out some of those 3.0 dct's and some single coils

I'm not sure if you calculate wattage the same for a DC as a SC. The LT allows up to 4.8 or 4.9V on a 2ohm single coil. If it works the same way with a DC, you'll get up to about 11.5 Watts and that's pretty toasty. If you use a formula that cuts that in half, it's still 5.75 Watts, which is meh for vapor and TH, but you should get decent flavor out of it. Just avoid 1.5ohms. It'll cut you off at 3.7V, if that.. If DCs give 1/2 the watts, that'll be about 4.5W, which bites.

Well I've had it for about 3 days now and im loving it it's hitting great with some 2.0 dct's. Im using it at about 4.2 volts im not sure if that is what its putting out but I like it Im gonna try some 3.0 dcts soon but the overall build of this thing is great it feels solid I like that theres no activator light its working great with some red aw imr 18650 now a few friends wan to get one as well hits just as good as my old Vv box
