Just ordered from PureSmoker and not sure

Hi all,

I am totally new to this forum; yet not entirely new to vaping. I got my first e-cig in January 2009 and immediately quit analogs, simply and easily. I got a very crappy e-cig though, sold at the mall (have never even seen that brand anywhere else, only ebay). In any case, it looked like a real cigarette but the smoke production was so so. After 3.5 months, I gave it up in favor of analogs and cannot quit them until now. After reading and researching this forum, I have realized that Prodigy is probably the best one out there. So here is my question: I just ordered the following from Puresmoker:

And I know this sounds silly, but I want to be 100% sure that when that package arrives (according to the website within 2-3 weeks! does it really take that long? I am in the USA), will I have everything to start vaping or am I missing any components?

Thanks in advance and hope that my dumb worries can be put to rest here.This time I am determined to make it work. I felt soooo awesome when I was vaping - no smell, no cough, no guilt (almost). I WANT THIS TO WORK!

It looks as if you will have everything you need to start vaping your Prodigy. The only thing I see is that you will only have two atomizers. If they both work and continue working, you're golden and might want to get some backups in the near future. If they both suddenly crap out on you, well...

The Prodigy Kit you ordered will have the Prodigy, an atomizer and two sets of batteries with one charger. On top of that you have also ordered another atomizer and two more sets of batteries. Not to mention a 30ml bottle of Riskee and that aint bad. Are you a heavy smoker? That nic is pretty high, but if that's what you need, go for it.

To answer your question about the shipping, it is possible that it will take awhile to get it to you. They're working very hard to keep up with the demand, and sometimes things can take awhile to put together. But from what I understand they intend on being caught up and stocked in the next week or two.

Thank you so much for the quick replies. I did not realize that I ordered the highest nicotine content juice I am now smoking Parliaments lights, about 10/day. Oh well, I will go back and order a different strength (which one would you think is the closest to Parliament's lights?) I guess I was subconsciously paranoid that I won't get a big enough nicotine rush, LOL. And I will get another atomizer or two. At this point, I almost don't care about the $, just desperately trying to get it right this time. I hear a lot of e-smokers invest quite a fortune into this while finding the right equipment.

I was smoking a pack or more of Camel Lights a day, and I find the 24mg juice to be more than enough nicotine for the Prodigy. I plan on cutting down to 16mg in the near future. If you only smoked a half a pack a day, I would suggest you try the 16mg and if that doesn't satisfy, go up to the 24mg.

I used to smoke regular american spirits and moved to a 901 with 24mg fluid for a bit.

Then I got the Prodigy and vaped for a few hours and couldn't see straight.

I now use 11mg fluid.

I have been vaping 24 mg nic juice. When getting the Prodigy I thought I'd cut back to lower nic but that didn't happen. Instead, I am taking shorter draws than I used to. Thanks to the Prodigy I am still getting a very good throat hit and the short draws keep the atomizer from getting too hot.

this prodigy really gives you a head rush. after 7 or 8 hits you'll feel it. i just got mine yesterday and when i woke up this morning i vaped about 25 hits and almost got sick from an overdose

Other than the above mentioned note re. the high nic level and atty count.... You are all set for "Dripping" only. If you prefer to use carts, You will need some carts and low bridge atty's. The PS atty's that come with the Prodigy are not cart friendly.

Ah yes. You know now that I think about it, I've never had to email you for anything. I just assumed your screen name was the same as your email. I guess we see what happens when one assumes.

What gives you that impression gjr? It is advertised as "Dripping Friendly" device that doesn't include any carts with a kit? Last I checked PS doesn't even offer carts for the device.

Maybe your right? I dunno. What I do know is that the high bridge true DSE801 atty's are a pain with standard 801 carts. They require some alterations to carts/stuffing and hold much less liquid to perform well.

The low bridge 801 atty's work great with carts right out of the blocks. Hence my "Not cart friendly" statement.

Thank you,all. The support on these forums just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It is rarely that a smoker can get support for this habit anywhere else
I ended up ordering more batteries and atomizers, switched the juice to lower nicotine content (11mg and 16 mg - 2 bottles) and switched from Prodigy 801 to Prodigy 901 based on the information Casey e-mailed me. Now all I have to do is keep smoking analogs until I get this stuff. I cannot wait. My old (and crappy) cheap e-cig broke completely yesterday so now I have an excuse. Hopefully the shipping won't take too long!
