Just ordered my first mod, Reo Grand. Now I need some things.

Hi all I just order the Reo Grand but I need to get some batteries and a charger. I've seen some at some of the Canadian vendors but they do cost a bit. I've seen them a lot cheaper from U.S. vendors but not sure where to get from since i've never ordered from one before. I also want to pick up some supply's with them.

I was looking at mad vapes and I like the prices but they don't have the red High drain 18650 batts that everyone seems to use. Any good places you guys know that ship to Canada fast?

You should also get the 4.8V battery and charger as well as some RCR 123 batteries so you can try your Grand at 5V and 6V

I like the 6V on my grand. The Ultrafire WF-188 can charge the RCR 123's and the AW IMR 18650's so you only need one charger.

What atty are you using on your Grand at 6V? I tried a 4.5ohm atty and it was a pretty dull vape.

I tried one of the 4.5ohms that Randy had in stock and really liked it actually. It is just a touch cooler than a SR joye 510 but still warm with tons of flavor and vapor. It doesn't really make sense to me because working out the wattage it is actually less than I am used to. I really need to get a multimeter and test everything, lol.

Maybe mine was a dud because I was actually getting less vapor and TH than a 510 LR at 3.7V

Similar wattage but different amperage It's the exact same theory that applies to IMR High Drains. If the batteries/ circuit can supply full amps to the coil, then it fires at peak efficiency.

how are those green 4.8 batts? what type of atty do you guys use on them?

I've been using those 4.8V batteries with the Smoktech dual coil cartomizers and it's out of this world - 2-3 second drag will produce massive clouds of vapor!

That's 15W of power. Seems a bit much. But it may work for you. Just be cautious of the amp draw at this rate. I'd think you'd want around 2.5ohms no? To each their own.

Refer to this chart, I think anything over 12watts is bad, I think it would probably wreck your atty

hmm well all i have is LR attys atm. I think i'm just going to get a couple of 18650 bats and a charger with and some drip tips, (awesome they sell cherry vape drip tips too been wanting to try them.) since the 4.8v batts need there own charger. I do want to try 5v and 6v but money is a factor, I did just buy the reo this morning and thats a lot of money spent. later on I will get some more batts and try higher volts.

They also carry the rubber drip tips that I love! They are fun to chew on, lol.

I'm using cartos insted of attys and at 6v i love the boge 3ohms its a nice warm cloud wit h the 18650 or the 14500 in the mini i go down to 2ohms ... still have to try 1.5 ohms

Anyhow enjoy the Reo mate, there the best thing there is out there in the fascinating world of mods !
