so i love real cigars, and hoped that i could find a good tasting e-cigar that would do the job during the winter when i can't go outside and smoke, so i got a veppo disposable cigar, and just started puffing on it. it has a horrible smell and taste, kindof like some sort bad burning plastic or something. even when i smell the cart it just has that smell. now, im curious if that is some unfortunate thing that all e-cigs and cigars have, or if this is a bad one. i planned on buying a nice non-disposable one if i liked this at all, but unfortunately this possibly turned me away from any vaping. so does anyone else know what i'm talking about?

Most of the disposables are to be avoided. You should read this page. It doesn't mention e-cigars but it should point you in the right direction.

I've been to Sidney recently and I didn't notice anywhere you might have found any vaping gear or juice. So, I'm going to guess that came from the gas station. The disposable e-cigars have the same cartos and juice in them as the disposable e-cigs with the same brand names... They are (for the most part) not comparable to any of the quality gear and juice you'll find with the forum vendors here. The general consensus is that the majority of the stuff you'll find in gas stations and mall kiosks is overpriced junk and not likely to be a satisfying replacement for your current tobacco habit.

Keep reading the forum. Check out the vendors websites. Ask questions. - And, hopefully, you'll be able to spend your money wisely and get in to quality gear and quality e-juice that suits you.

Probably just a bad one. Whether it's the juice or the carto I couldn't say, but there are good E-cigars (or "E-gars") out there, and there are quite a number of vendors who carry or even specialize in a variety of tobacco vapes, including different types of cigar leaf and pipe tobacco. Is it a real cigar-sized PV you're looking for, or just a vape that tastes like a cigar?

Yep, when you want to smoke a good cigar, you have to smoke a good cigar. Vaping will never taste like a good cigar. That having been said, I havn't smoked a cigarette in 7 months because of vaping. I was about 1.5 PAD. I used to smoke a cigar a day. Now I may open my humidors every other week for a nice treat. Vaping won't replace that.

wow you have been to sidney? Where are you from and why were you in this part of nowhere? Anyway, nobody in this town has heard of vaping, so there was no option but online for what i bought. It was a 30 dollar device. If i knew it was the flavour, not vaping in general that has this odd taste

I'm not too far from Helena. My wife has relatives around Roundup etc. I went up to Fairview a few weeks ago to buy some parts for an Allis Chalmers WD45 tractor.

Don't let that e-cigar with a bad carto turn you off too much. I can't promise you'll find a device and juice that suits you on your next try, but your odds will increase if you keep asking questions here on ECF. The e-liquid sub-section and the reviews section are worth soaking up information from if you're looking for specific flavor and specific devices.

so as a fellow cigar enjoyer, do you even think any flavours at all can or will be enjoyable, if I puff like a cigar? Or is vaping only good for inhaling. Even if i get a taste that's totally different from cigars, i would still assume that i could enjoy that other flavour, and puffing it right? I really want to have something to do in winter when i can't go outside and smoke. And you are the first person i have talked to who has also smoked cigars, so your response will help me a lot. So even if im puffing peach flavour or something, do you think i could enjoy it? And do you have any ideas on flavours close to real cigars? Thanks

I smoke Padron, Hoyo de Monterrey, El Rey Del Mundo, Fuente, cuban RyJ, Cuban Partagas, Punch and so many others. All from the finest of leaf. Cigarettes are chopped up trash with additives.

You will NEVER duplicate SMOKING a fine cigar by VAPING any cigar flavored liquid (period) Fine cigars (imo) are gifts from the gods. Cigarettes are from hell, and I'm glad I'll never smoke another.

I love cigars and probably always will. I don't smoke near as many as I used to, but have no intention to quit completly.

To answer your question regarding vape flavors, I love many compared to cigarettes. I enjoy it. You need to find flavors you enjoy. But don't try to find flavors that replicate good cigars, as you will be disappointed. What's wrong with Peach?

So how about this guys, since this thing was 38 dollars with shipping, and i don't want to waste it, do you think i should clean it out with water, order some different flavour, and try refilling it to at least see if its enjoyable? This thing is supposed to last a long time, and even the smell of it i can't bear. Opinions?

If it is a good battery, you need good cartos to go with it, and liquid you like the flavor of. Or get a god Mod. I think My buzz is about a 60 ring gauge

well if I buy a real one, ill make sure to get a good one, but for now I'm curious if i can empty the crappy juice out of this disposable one and test out better stuff. I still don't know if i want a n e-cigar cause my only experience with it is bad so far

With the one you bought you will be turned off real fast and any juice you try to put in it wont help . I think we all went through the buying trash blu's and smoke51's stage when starting . There are lots of juice that not only tastes like a cigar but some taste better than a cigar .Maybe not the exact taste as a cigar but more like a cigar with enhanced flavor . There are also lots of ecigs that put out more vapor than a cigar . For juices look into backwoodsbrew .They have some nice and pungent cigar tobaco flavors . Avejuice has some great flavors . Im not huge on tobacco flavors but i know of a few that are great . Crystalclearvapings black and mild juice is amazing . I know a black and mild is not really a nice cigar but the juice tastes so much better then the real ones . Look into getting something like a ego or epower ecig .If you want to go for something with a little style maybe a screwdriver ecig . Just search those names on google or here so you can see what they look like . The thinks that try to mimic the exact look of a cigar are usually the crap ecigs so i wouldnt really pay attention to trying to match the look of a real cigar . WHen you start to learn more and get into it you may want a variable voltage device to up the vapor prudction and get the most out of your juices . Dont just look for tobacco juice . Many find other juiices like fruits and bakery juices are even better than a tobacco juice . ONe thing i can guarantee though is any product mentioned here will work and taste a million times better .

Does the ecig you bought have a atomizer and seperate filler cart or a 1 piece cartomizer ? Usually the atomizer and filler cart burn fast and have a wierd taste . Most people eventually go with a cartomizer or drip juice straight into a atomizer and pretty much throw away the plastic filler carts . Btw cartomizer is nicknamed "Carto" and is not the same as a "cart" .The cartomizer is like a long metal atomizer with the filler built into it and has no plastic . You got some reading to do but dont let the ecig you bought get you down . The majority of us that switch from a cheapo ecig to a real ecig continue vaping .

oh, ok, so you think i should just get a 510 type kit? should i buy it in pieces and make a custom set, or should i find some beginner kit? the whole thing is pretty confusing, and i have been researching pretty hard. so is 510, just a thread size so that you know any "510" thing you buy will go with any other "510" thing you buy?

Yes go with 510 as its most popular and yes thats the type of thread the battery connector is . Any 510 cartomizer or atomizer will fit on it . I put some links for you in your other thread . All you really need is a battery 510 , some cartomizers , a charger for the battery and some bottles of juice . You may as well buy a kit in the links i put in the other thread . It comes with 2 ecigs in the kit a charger and atomizors or cartomizers . Cartomizers are better imo but atomizers are good for dripping juice right into it . Not many people really use the carts that go with the atomizers anymore .
