I just purchased a provari (standard), silver with red LED. I chose the Iclear30 tank. I am looking for setting suggestions to get started. Any ideas for the newbie?
It depending on what Ohms your iClear30 heads are (I believe the iClear30 heads come in 1.5Ω and 2.1Ω varieties) if they are 1.5Ω, I'd suggest about 3.6-3.7V (approximately 8.5 Watts); if they are 2.1Ω, I suggest about 4.2-4.3V (again, approximately 8.5 Watts) ... these are just starting points. Adjust up or down in .1V increments until you achieve the vape you like.
What ohm's is your coil? I'd start at around 7 watts, maybe less. Depending on the ohms, watts would be volts squared divided by resistance, if it was 1.8 ohms that would be 3.55 volts needed. 2 ohm then 3.7 volts. Start low, then adjust up by taste till it taste best for you. Get a little off or burn flavor, turn it down a tad.
Just the same as any APV, start low and increase your voltage until you get a satisfying vape. If it starts to taste a little burnt, turn it down a notch.
A quick rule of thumb for the voltage setting is resistance +2. So if your coil resistance is 1.8, try starting at 3.8 and adjusting from there.
Congrats on your new Provari! My rule of thumb is to go two volts over the rated ohm's of the coil as a starting spot. You can check your ohm's right on your shiny new Provari. Then I adjust up or down depending on the vapor production and flavor.

Welcome and congrats!! What everyone else said about the settings. Also, the setting might be good for one juice but not good for another. Just keep experimenting to find your sweet spot.
