I decided to go with a kGo kit. I also added a carry case and 5 smoketech cartos and a 50ml bottle of Dekamg menthol juice to get started. I then went over to CCV and ordered 5 "the ressurector" cartos. I am anxious to get everything in!!!

I do have one more question, where can i get the best e juice from? Im a menthol smoker so ill definitely want menthol but i also think i may tinker with different flavors. So whats the best eliquid out there?

Thanks for everyones help!

Congrats on taking that first step - exciting isn't it?!

As far a juices go, taste is very subjective so what tastes like heaven to me, may not tickle your fancy, lol!

You might want to try heading over to the general eliquid reviews section to get an idea of what juice vendors have to offer and what people think of them!

Happy reading!!

I'm also a strictly menthol smoker when it comes to analogs. Regular cigarettes tasted horrible to me when I smoked.
Juices are somehow different though. With juices, I've found that I prefer warm, rich, sweet flavors like snicker-doodle, espressos, things like that. Everybody seems to be different.
One of the great things about vaping is that you have so much more to choose from than just tobacco flavors and while I thought I would want tobacco flavors, I was wrong.
So just for the heck of it, when buying juices you might also consider trying small samples of juices from the various other flavor groups like fruity, beverages, coffees, bakery goods, deserts or some of the others.
Good luck. It's an enjoyable transition to stop smoking this way!

Hi! I have the Kgo and am very happy with it. I was a menthol smoker. At first I really liked Dekang Menthol. Now, after 7 weeks of vaping, it is a bit too strong for me. I have tried Backwoods Brew Menthol Strong, and it is milder on my throat. A cartomizer I really like is the 1.25 ohm Dual Coil with the Kgo. I get them from Hoosier. If you buy 25 or more they are 1.70 each.

Even though I was a Newport smoker, my favorite jucies are tending to be the non-menthols. I really like Dekang Tab and Nite Lite Vapor Bounty Hunter.

I think youll love the kGo. Its a solid PV and gives a great vape. I use an E-Power which is similar to a kGo but uses non-proprietary batteries. The Ressurectors work AWESOME on the E-Power and kGo and I think youll really like them. Just make sure you fill them correctly bc they hold a lot of juice and you can ruin one if you dont put enough juice in. I recommend using the syringe youll get with the Ressurectors. Using a syringe takes all the guesswork out of filling and will ensure they are properly filled.
As for juice, like everyone else said, taste is very subjective. I dont recommend buying big bottles unless you know you like a juice. Personally I wouldnt have ordered a 50ml bottle to start, but at least the Dekang juices are cheap so if you dont like it your not out a ton of money. I def recommend getting sample packs to start, and I like the vendors that let you pick your own juices for a sample pack. Check out BlueMist Vapor. They have a huge selection of juices, over 250 and really great prices. $5 for 10ml and $10 for 30ml. They also offer sample packs and you can pick your own. I would get a few of the 3ml sample packs so you can try a bunch of juices for cheap. They also offer extra flavor shots for .50cents more and if you find a juice you really like you can get a 180ml bottle for $30, which is a awesome deal and breaks down to $5 for 30ml. You can get all of their juices in either 80/20 PG/VG or 100%VG. I recommend getting the 80/20 bc it works a lot better in cartos and wont clog them as quickly. Also if you drip fill, high VG juices take a long time to settle to the bottom bc their so thick. 80/20 seeps into the filler much quicker and also wicks better. Using a syringe def makes filling higher VG juices quicker bc your filling from the bottom up, but it still doesnt wick as quickly so I personally like 80/20 alot better

I dont recommend using the 1.25ohm cartos, but thats up to you. I find they kill some flavors bc they give a hot vape. Also using a carto with that low of a resistance risks frying your kGo. A cartos resistance can vary slightly and also can drop ohms slightly from use. If a 1.25ohm carto actually is running at around 1.1ohm, you really risk killing your PV bc thats way too low of a resistance. Personally I think the 1.25ohm cartos are a bit overkill and the 1.5 or 1.7ohm cartos give a plenty warm vape, but you might like them. Also with a 1.5ohm carto or a 1.7ohm Ressurector, if it does drop slightly in ohms from use, it wont be as likely that the slight drop will kill your PV. Im not saying you shouldnt use them though. Personally I didnt like them, but you might. Just keep in mind that using 1.25ohm cartos voids the warranty on your kGo so if they do fry it, your S.O.L.
