so my vivi nova was left sitting for awhile because all my heads died so i thought i'd try rebuilding it, and im glad i did. i used 2 3mm thick silica wicks and 32g kanthal for 2.6 ohm coil. Easiest rebuild ever. Never buying a head.

I usually use no more than a single 3mm in a vivi/stardust style head... once did 2 x 2mm though. Did you cut little notches in the silicon cap? I find with a thicker wick that little cap can restrict juice wicking... a couple of little notches just above the wicks let them suck up juice a bit better.

yeah when i screwed on the topcap it was pushing down the wicks and giving me a short o.o so i put triangle notches on both sides to allow it to fit
