I just got my 510 in the mail from cignot.com. I plugged one battery into the charger and one battery into my pcc. The battery I plugged into the charger looks like it's already charged (the light turned green). Is it really necessary to wait 8 hours before using it? I just want to use it once to try it out? Will this effect the battery life?

hahaha, I didn't even read this. Just hit it once. Awesome, not much flavor this time but I've got 7 different flavors to try out. Thanks to the ladies for hooking me up with a free 3 ml toffee. Also got my order from Midwest vapor today. I am alone in my room laughing at how cool this thing is. I can french inhale and blow rings on it and I only just took my second puff. TIGHT.

A lot of people are saying that the manual just hasn't been updated since a change over from some older style batteries, which were recommended to charge for 8 hours, use for 20 min, and then charge another hour.. and that's not necessary with these batteries now..just charge til the ligh turns green and you're good

Hey Z,

I have to agree the green light means charged. But from my experience, the first night I received my new battery, I used it until it died. I then charged it until the light turned green, it was about 2 hours. After getting 30 minutes out of it, I charged it again, for 8 hours. And now my battery dies constantly. I've tried the same method on another set of 2 batteries, and now, they all do the same.

I suggest letting the battery charge a full 8 hours before use.
