Just received my LR Mega Cylinder attys for my eGo...

And they are the business. I ordered 'em from Good Prophets, the only US vendor to carry them as far as I know, and they are WAY better than my standard Mega attys as far as vapor production, draw, and sound. Smooth draw and I was clouding up my office in about 4 - 5 good hits.

I mention sound because I know a lot of people were talking about certain "wheezing/whistling" sounds from the cylinder types, and my standard one was no exception. It would gurgle and wheeze, which didn't prevent me from vaping, but it made my presence known if I wanted to stealth vape.

So as far as sound goes...there is none. I mean, aside from the usual sound of drawing it, there was no foreign sound of "..../bubbler" or "nerd" noises.

Just puttin' everyone up on game, for those that like using LR's.

Thanks for the info. I also purchased one LR ego mega atty. I have not tried it thus far. Just obtained it last night in mail. Sounds good. Are you using a 650 or 900 battery with it?

Right now, I'm using a USB 650 battery. It works just as well whether it's plugged in or not. I'm gonna test it out on my 650 once it's charged and on my 900 to see how long the battery usage lasts on each one, using the LR. I'll post with results. Til then, let me know how you like yours.

According to GP, they're 1.5 ohms. I don't have an indicator to give exact readings, so that's the only info I can base it on.

Just to update like I said I would, using my LR Mega eGo atty on both of my 900s drained the batteries (fully charged) pretty quick in about 2 - 3 hours, and that's with moderate vaping. Conversely, using it on my USB 650 (fully charged and unplugged) it lasted for about 8 - 9 hours, same amount of vaping.

Tybin posted the link for his opinion not to use an LR with a 1.5 ohm rating on a PT or eGo battery in a similar thread. Well, nothing learns ya like experience.

I'm just gonna be using my standard Mega atty on my 900s.

I have been ranging 4-6 hours on a 900 joye brand battery. I love the hit. It reminds me of actually smoking a analog. It is worth the drain. I will just buy more batteries. I just bought two more 900's. I have the regular mega atties and don't care for them. The regulars are just okay but nothing great.

I am kicking myself for not ordering more lr mega atty's from Good prophet...
BTW it does burn up more juice.....
