...bumping my post count :)

I am a new vaper, huge fan of Nicoticket juices (can't you tell by the user name? :D ). One of those folks that went from an ego pen to istick pico to a smok Alien with building my coils on Kayfun 5 and Crown RBAs with the help of ECF, YouTube and lots of swearing in between in a matter of 3 months.

One thing for sure - I learned more about electricity since I started vaping than I ever did through all the schooling.

With that, Hello everyone, what a vibrant community you've got here!

Hello

Welcome to ecf. Congrats on making the switch from the stinkies. Good job.

If you really like Nicoticket ejuice, I suggest stocking up or asking them for their recipe. They are preparing to go bye bye........deeming regs have gotten to them.....such a shame...

:)

Thank you and yes..... unfortunately I did hear. This was my second post as the first one went straight into the Nicoticket sub forum. Oh uh... got to love the FDA. Not.

Howdy NicoT Vaper!

I'm fairly new here myself but want to say welcome as well.

I'm interested in your experience with the Smok Alien...I'm leaning toward picking up the kit that includes the Baby Beast at my local vape shop.

I currently vape on a Kangertech Subox Mini and recently started making my own coils. I realize to do the same with the Alien will require the purchase of a different RTA...I'm cool with that....the more vape toys the better, eh?

Again, welcome!

Hi there, thank you for welcoming. Smok Alien is very nice (a manly mod as my wife calls it); some reported issues with paint chipping, I personally haven't experienced it, but I'm also careful with it. For the price, I think it worth it. Good ergonomics, sits well in the hand and looks very good; not too heavy and I love the fire button, as it is easy to find and depress from any position. The only peeve, I'd say is that the button rattles a bit when you lightly tap it, not sure if it'll develop into any additional troubles down the road - time will tell.

Can't speak about the baby beast, since I only bought the mod, but I'd highly recommend Kayfun with it, if MTL and restricted lung hits is your thing. Flavor out of Kayfun 5 is the best I've ever tried - highly praised Crown 1 (and I have 2 of those) pales im comparison. Kayfun is also very easy to work with due to redesigned posts, which coils can "hug" around for easy coiling. It is also very forgiving with wicking.

Also, look at trusted vendors, such as vapeNW and alike for a better pricing than your B&M, unless of course you just want to support a local business, which I do frequently.

In any case, I think, you will like it.
