Hellow Daren and welcome to the ECF. It is the same story with me!!! And I'm loving it. If there is any questions you have, dont hesitate to ask them. The members on this forum are willing to help. The forum has alot of information, suggestions and vendors for your vaping needs.

I agree with madjay you will need another battery. One you are using, while the other is charging. Also extra equipment is mandatory.
I wish you luck on your new endeavors.

Welcome Daren. I, too, smoked for 40 years before switching over to vaping in June. I couldn't have done it without the wonderful, helpful people here at ECF. This ain't my homepage (yet) but I spend as much time at the ECF as I do anywhere else! Stay in touch and let us all know how you're doing. Good Luck !

Looks like there are planty of success stories around here. i guess i gotta try to believe it

Like I said in my original post; this has been the only thing that has worked for me.
I tried the patch, gum, two types of pills, even went through treatment for throat cancer. Nothing worked.
Vaping has worked for me.

Hope to get off "combusting" for good, too. Glad to hear the OPs experience. Tried a few other methods. Vaping seems to allow for some of the more enjoyable aspects of "combusting" that other methods don't; namely, the visual cue of a large cloud of smoke. That's one of the things I found I missed with ingestion and topical alternatives.
