Welcome to ECF! Making your own juices is definitely wallet friendly, so if you can do it well and enjoy your creation, there's really no downside. This forum should provide you with more than enough information for you to get started and anything else you may be curious of. I hope you find it useful

Welcome to ECF its a great place to be, lots of friendly advice. Don't be put of by diy juice, I'm a noob, I made my 1st batch about 2 month ago and it turned out really good, i'd read up on it and figured out how to use a few different juice calculators within a few days then had a crack at it. Its a lot easier than sounds, 1 of the flavours I made on my 1st batch is now my adv (haven't even tweaked it since) but I'm now in experimenting mode trying different mixes and trying to reproduce some of my favourite premium liquids. I've had a couple of mixes that have not been very good but on the other hand I've spent £16 on a bottle of premium I didn't like. End of the day its fun and a hell of a lot cheaper, take the plunge, there's lots of people here that can guide you in the right direction.

I had ran out of my favorite juice and didn't want to run into town so I went to a closer discount tobacco store that sells ejuice in other things they don't have a big variety so I decided to try them and ultimately left with peppermint by WOW Vapor I loved it the downside is it's $13 for 30ml and I vape 2-3 a week so it's killing my pocket. I have been online and bought peppermint from MBV and I bought one from a local Vapors store they were soapy/ chemically tasting so I'm hope they just need to steep awhile. Anyways I'm rambling so let me get on with my questions I would like to know if I can speed up steeping without messing up the juice. I'm also hoping someone can help me out with some names of good peppermint flavor for diy juice?

Thank you for your story makes me feel a lot better about trying it. I have tried several different juices and I went back to smoking for some of the summer because I wasn't finding that perfect vape but I quit smoking again now for almost a month and haven't thought about going back to smoking since I found Peppermint made by wow but it's expensive and I would really like to save some money and I really want to make a peppermint Bark mix...

Hi and welcome. I DIY my own juice. It is not hard, but it does take some trial and error to get your recipes adjusted the way you like them, and accurate measurement is a must. Allow me to suggest you check out the DIY Forum where you will find persons far more knowledgeable than I, a long list of recipes and excellent suggestions on every facet of the craft.

If you're a fan of minty juices that are pretty cheap in price, I've always been a pretty big fan of MBV's Candy Cane. 2 flavor shots and it ends up being a smooth candy cane peppermint flavor with a pretty nice throat hit. I've tried a lot of juices from MBV and they didn't meet my quality expectations, but I always went back for Candy Cane because it was good right out of the mailbox and didn't require steeping before I could vape it. The last time I purchased it-it was around $34 for 236ML of Candy Cane. Pretty fantastic price in comparison to what you're paying ($.14 per ml compared to $.43).

Just a tip though, never buy anything from local stores. As much as I support businesses, I care more about the consumer trying to quit smoking and continue vaping. You'll find far better deals online for absolutely any product you could buy at a local store.

I did buy a 30 ml 50/50 Bottle and a 15ml max vg bottle of the Candy cane from MBV and it didn't taste like.candy cane at all I'm. Hoping it will once it has been steeped.

Did you get any flavor shots by chance? I noticed that it's more of a strong minty peppermint if there's no flavor shots. I also do agree that the candy cane sweetness is more noticeable after a little steeping, but I definitely tasted it right out of the bottle. Also, with max VG juices you'll definitely want flavor shots from MBV no matter what juice you buy. They don't specialize in max VG juices for drippers or anything along those lines so in that ratio, it'll always taste like soap or have a very, very bland flavor even after a full steeping.

Everyone tastes things differently though!
