Greetings! I've been lurking on these forums for a few weeks and finally decided to register.
Tomorrow I will have been cigarette free for five weeks and I'm feeling great. I've been smoking on and off for the last 7-8 years and it was time.
After doing 100+ hours of research over several weeks (if I'm spending more than $100 on something I'm doing my research first) I finally took the plunge. I knew if this was going to work for me I would have to go balls out and make it a hobby. Quite frankly, probably the best decision I've ever made in my life. I'm a techno-nerd and I love to tinker so this was right up my alley.
I'm having way too much fun so far, but unfortunately none of my friends or family enjoy talking about vaping (aside from my sister and brother-in-law who both live 400 miles away). They are all still smokers and so I basically just avoid talking about it unless they ask first. I strongly believe in vaping but I refuse to be one of those obnoxious people who switched to vaping and is suddenly think they're better than their smoker friends or something. To each their own.
Basically what I'm trying to say is I love vaping and hopefully this community can be a good resource and outlet for me when I'm craving discussion about the subject, or just need some input about purchasing new mods or whatever.
