I don't know if I could choke down a cigarette. About 3 months after I switched to vaping, I tried a cigarette, just to see if I was done with them. I couldn't finish 2 puffs, it was completely disgusting. Haven't tried one since. I still have an unopened "trophy" pack - it'll be 8 years old in a couple months.

I had to relight that cigarette a bunch of times and it was so long ago I am not sure exactly how much of it I finished. Just remember I could not get the stink off me!

Depending on my mood, tobacco smoke can still smell appealing or appalling. What I'm 100% disgusted by is the combo of booze and smoke.

I am a user and proponent of public transportation. My morning commute takes me past harbours and refineries. Lots of day labourers, and I say this without judgment, but, I'm consistently sharing space with still-drunk men absolutely steeped in cheap, usually re-lit cigarette smoke and it legitimately turns my stomach.

For better or worse, that gutteral reaction has had a nice side-effect: I can swill with friends, free of any fear of lighting up. In fact, with a little planning, I prefer vaping with a drink, ESPECIALLY the morning after if things went deep.

Nothing wrong with treating yourself once in a while, provided it doesn't cause a full backslide. I partake now and again, but I never enjoy it much. The grass is just greener over here.

We were walking at a local shopping center when I passed 2 smokers. I don't throw judgement their way but the smell was sickening. Wish I were exaggerating, but I felt my stomach turn.

I commented on the smell and my wife have me one of those looks. Hard to actually describe but I believe all men know what I'm talking about.

To each his own. I'm not an anti-smoking Nazi, but maybe if they only knew...

There's cigar flavored eliquids too and cigar shaped gear if you'd like, though i too smoke still but not cigars or cigs (if you know what i mean).
You do know there's vaping equipment for flowers and concentrates...you'll save money on your "inhalotherapy" herbs and/or concentrates.
You could even use the ones for dry herbs to vape cigar tobacco...I think that'd be closer to the real deal.
You can also use the different temperature to get different effects from your medication...
PM me if you'd like more info, I'm quite knowledgeable in anything vaping related and even some smokeless products like Swedish Snus...

Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
After being a smoker for almost 40 years when I first quit, the smell of a freshly lit cigarette did have some appeal but after over 3 years since I quit it doesn't any longer. Yesterday someone was smoking outside an Extended Care facility I was at and I had to move up wind because it just smelled nasty. But that is me and no one else.

Ya, it took 3 years for the smell of burned tobacco to smell bad to me, but it's official now, they smell horrid. And the way the smell sticks to the smoker is now clear also. I feel sorry for them as they really have no clue.

Yes, I know it very well! I call it the "Look" or the "Face". And then you have the differences where you know you will hear about it later or the you dumb ace.

I love my good cigars and will likely never quit smoking them.

I have paid a fortune over the last 20+ years to stock 3 humidors with hundreds of the bast Cuban, Dominican and Honduran cigars made and I ain't selling or giving them away just because I quit smoking cigarettes.

Having said that, I only smoke 5-10 cigars a year and don't inhale. I consider my smoking the ofd cigar to be completely different than smoking a pack of cigarettes a day.

I wouldn't consider it falling off the vape wagon at all.

While I will not consider smoking a cigar to be as bad as smoking a pack of cigarette it still has it's bad effects which are comparable to smoking cigarettes. Actually just before I walked past where someone had been smoking a stogy and I have to admit it did smell pretty good! I have smoked a cigar over the years but just wasn't my thing because I can't do it without inhaling and it is not what is recommended.

I can barely stand the taste of cigars or cigarettes anymore. The smell doesn't bother me but that foul taste in my mouth just makes me gag. I've had to bum a cigarette a couple of times in drastic situations and every time I took a drag I wondered, "how did I ever START this habit???"

^^ I hope those were drastic in the sense you were caught without batteries or juice as opposed to sitting in the bar with a drastic need to smoke ;)

Actually worst case scenario was the day I dropped my beloved IPV D2 and the tank rammed into the connector. :(
Never did work right after that and I had to bum smokes all day at work.
