It's been 7 days not smoking using e-cigs!

I'm using an ipv 2s and an istick 20 as backup.

One question on the ipv. I got a battery from my local shop and was wondering what is the most mah I can get for this device? At this time it only last me half a day.

thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum needvisine. Glad to have you here!:)

I believe you need a 30A battery to run on the IPV 2s. Unfortunately, the Sony VTC5's are no longer in stock at any reputable supplier that we know. However you still can find the Sony VTC4 2100mah.

How to Spot Fake Sony Batteries

Sony Real vs Fake.jpg

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor <= Sony VTC4 in stock as of 1/17/15
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

Hi needvisine and welcome to ECF!

I see that your question has already been answered, so I will just stick to "hi and welcome" for now. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. There are plenty of friendly, helpful folks here.

Oh, and you'll get your requisite 5 posts in no time. Just reply in this or other posts.

@beweezy: Welcome aboard to you, too. What kind of problems are you having with on the coil issue?

Thanks all. I been researching and going to wait on the istick 50 next month. I kinda pre-ordered at my local vape shop. My ipv just last for a half day so the 4400 mah will help plus its regulated. (I'm a noob. Just started this 7 days ago)

Also I just got 24 nic today cause I been vaping like crazy this week and it's just not working for a real cig the past two days (Can't sleep and getting the shakes). I was on 14 before. Am I doing the right thing and go higher till I feel I don't need to smoke or just continue with 14 and ride it out? (I just 1 30 ml bottle of 24 nic). I was a pack a day smoker for over 30 years before e-cig.

How much nic is different for everyone. I smoked for 40 years, 1.5 PAD Marlboro Menthols the last 5 or so. I started vaping before I found ECF, so I didn't know what nic level to choose. I picked 12mg, since I thought it was about medium. I figured if I needed more I would just vape more. I found a juice I really liked early on and ordered it in 18mg to try, but it didn't taste the same and actually seemed too strong. I ended up getting the same flavor in lower mg and cutting it. Other people who smoked less than I did, found they needed 24mg.

You don't have to vape the same nic level all the time. You might vape 24mg when you are really craving, then 14mg the rest of the time. A lot of vaping is trial and error, since what works for me may not work for you.

Good luck! Blue_Caterpillar_Emoticon_by_IMCullen.gif

to ecf needvisine. Nice to meet you and so glad you are here. Gosh it looks like the battery would last longer than that. What batteries are you using? I have been more than pleased with 18650 Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh. So glad you have a backup. I demand something that will last me most of the day. Good luck to you and make yourself at home.

All you have to do to get your 5 posts is reply to people in this thread or others. You don't have to actually start 5 threads. Welcome to ECF!!

Hi I have been Smoke Free for a little over 15 months now I don't really have any questions I just found this group and thought I could be of some help to the New Vapers with their questions as for needvisine's question the mah will or milli-amp-hour will vary depending on what your vaping habits are and the what ohm coil your using on your device.
