I'm just now deciding I'm comfortable to to try dripping. I've looked at a lot of the posts but am not seeing some of the answers I'm wanting. Right now I'm dripping with a 901 since the arch is fairly high and easy to get to. I'm noticing I only get about 8 or so puffs from 3 drips. I'm a chain vaper and that just dosen't get it. I noticed a lot of people getting 10-15, but by then I start getting a burnt taste. Should I put maybe 3-4 drips instead? Also, after dripping, should I add a drip or two so that the atty isn't just dry or will it not hurt it since I'm not using it? I assume the burnt taste at the end is bad and means you need to stop and or burn up your atty? and not just part of it? I did a search for dripping and didn't really come up with much that helped. Thanks for any advice! Sorry for being such a noob!!

It can dependant on the type of bottle you are dripping from. I find some bottle give larger drips than others. And also what sort of length draw and how fast/slow you draw.

It is trial and error at the end of the day, personally I use three drops.

That is using a 5ml dropper bottle from TW and a JantyStick with 801 atomiser.

Yup--some drops are bigger than others. Also, not all "puffs" are the same. Some folks manage to take very long puffs, while others do a quick 3-4 second puff.

It definitely is trial and error.

When I started dripping, I used to unscrew the atomizer every once in awhile to see whether I was dripping too much such that liquid was leaking from the atomizer. If I noticed some liquid on the threads after unscrewing, I'd blow out the atomizer then start over again. I was surprised at how often I had managed to flood the atomizer . . . not so badly as to completely lose the vapor, but enough to decrease it.

Yup, definitely trial and error.

I'm using a 3ml plastic cylinder bottle. I apparently have a pretty short draw because I rarely hit the cut off switch (blinking red lights) but I find myself vaping in short intervals. A lot like an analog:oops: I'm wondering with as much as I vape, I should just go back to the carts, but it just seems like so much is wasted and I feel like I need to top off long before it gets dry even to the middle, only the top 1/3 is dry.
