you and your husband plan to share 1 e cig?

I recommend you both get your own kits. 2 ego twist batteries, 2 chargers, and 3 clearomizers each.
If you want to try cartomizers or cartomizer tanks, get 1-2 of them as well if you can.
But yes, ego twist batteries are where its at these days for new vapers in my humble opinion.
Although there are many other great options such as value priced mods or even regular ego bats.

1 person cannot survive on 1 battery alone, no matter what size it is you should have at least 2.
I would personally say at least 3 but if you want to buy your 3rd at a later time you can do that.

Get yourself and your husband 2 ego twist/spinners each, the chargers, make sure you get ac adapters for the usb cable.
then get yourselves the kanger T3s or vivi nova minis or smoktech redux or vision clearomizers, 3-4 each will be best.

Then get yourselves some juice. 12 and 18mg so that you can figure out what level of nicotine you like best.
If your going to want to vape a lot, 12mg. If you want to take 5-10 puffs then be good, 18mg would be best.
Its also best to buy a lot of small bottles of juice rather than a few larger bottles of juice.
You might get the idea that your really going to like a flavor, and then when you get it, its not what you thought itd be.

good luck on your vaping journeys

No, I'm planning to get two of everything. I'll probably start with cartomizers. I'll look into the Vision Spinners and the Ego twist. I really appreciate the advice. It's a new world and can be confusing.

One thing to keep in mind is a common saying here, "back-ups for your back-ups". There is nothing worse than getting started and then having a dead battery or something break. You said 2 of everything, if you aren't already you may want to think 2 of everything for each of you.

I just started recently too, and I went with the Ego-c usb passthrough, I do hear a lot of people like the twist. As for what to put the juice in, I ordered the Vision V3 Clearomizers and I really love them. Super easy to fill and refill and replace the coils when necessary. I also like the idea of rebuilding, and happened across a site that sells the pre-wound wick and wires for rebuilding until I'm ready to do that part myself instead of paying for new coil heads each time. Good luck on you new set up with whatever direction you go. I am now almost a month analogue ciggie free due to vaping so it is totally worth it to me to get into this. I do need to get a second battery in case mine ever goes out, I would hate to have to crave those nasty tobacco sticks until I could get a new one in the mail.

update: Never touched an analog again. :) I love vaping. Thus far I'm using spinners and Kanger T3's I have ordered more juice and am hoping some of that comes in today. This is awesome. So far so good. I'm wondering about evods, though. And need a glass tank. I've been thinking about the protank but seeing some problems on the reviews....

Hi,
I've been vaping for about a year now and I think you will be quite happy with the Ego Twist. Yes, I have a Silver Bullet as well as other more "advanced mods," but that Ego is what I reach for when I leave the house. You're smart not to get caught up in the beginner or advanced terminology...it is really quite silly when you think about it. All that matters is that you find the right product that will keep you off of cigarettes. Good luck!!!!

On juices, you might check around to see if any of your local stores have tasting rooms. All of the ones I've been to have had them; and, they're great for figuring out what you like and don't like. :) I get about 1/2 my juice "locally" (about 20 miles away; since, I live in a town without any vape stores); and, about 1/2 of it online. It was nice to be able to "try before I buy," though.

I use an ego passthrough battery so I can vape while it's on the charger...therefore only one battery, it's a 900 MAH so it usually lasts most of the day without charging (1 hour = 100MAH so 900 MAH = 9 hours results may vary lol). I find tanks are easier to fill and maintain, but that's just me. I have 2 vivi novas and 2 CE5 V3s, I prefer the Novas although they seem to take away i little of the flavor. Well, I just saw when you posted this so too little too late I'm sure! But Vape On!
