I haven't been around much as of late. I sold all my e cig stuff and quit. I used the money to buy a mandolin and have been playing that thing a lot. probably one of the coolest instruments I have ever learned. Check out a band called Nickel Creek. I want to play like that.
Anyway, I wanted to share some thoughts on giving up vaping. Nicotine really takes a hold. I was actually surprised that I had as strong of withdrawals as I did. Today is day 6 and I still feel it a bit. day 1 was easier than day 2, 3 and 4. By day 5 the level started to drop down.
The withdrawals weren't the same as quitting the analogs. I just had trouble sleeping. I actually still have trouble sleeping. I get about 3-4 hrs then wake up. do some stuff, have a nap, wake up etc. I have 2-3 naps a day now for 20 mins to 1 hr.
But, I have stopped hacking up clear plegm, the cough has gone... no allergy pills needed this week... I've put on a little weight but I got that under control day 3. I actually am hungry more often. I even ate brunch today.
I can safely say now I won't smoke or vape ever again. I'll have a puff of the unmentionable now and then. I'll pop in once in a while to say hi here, but I won't be researching or testing stuff. Hell I'll come to the vape meets still to have a beer with my friends even.
Take care all and best of luck in your vaping journeys
