So I did something really stupid tonight. I tried putting my Vulcan Heat Sink on my Tugboat V2 mod tonight. Mod started getting really hot so I quickly disassembled it and sure enough the heat sinks center pin screwed itself to be flush with the negative threads. Melted a little to the derelin and took 15 minutes to cool down but thankfully no major damage or explosions. I always like to test setups before I fully run with them as this setup could of been really bad.
But I do have one question, would you recommend retiring the battery? Wrap is still intact although a couple small wrap sections appear to be melted to the battery now. Battery has not expanded in any way. Thanks for listening to my disaster averted story. Definitely didn't want to become the next news story as to "how vaping is bad" when its battery saftey not the act of vaping. Safety first.
