vaping away and blissfully enjoying my REO Grand while I'm touring Gotham.....patiently waiting for a VV REO Woodvil or should I just pull the trigger on a VV Grand....maybe a Blem VV.....when will that day come.

BTW, are the VV versions better and if so, in what way..... :vapor:
VV Grand is not "better", it depends on what you are looking for. They are both beasts and the best you can get, you just have to weight in whether you want a mechanical mod or a regulated mod. The VV is nice and I wouldn't doubt that I'll eventually end up getting one, but mechanical for me all the way. I love building my own coils, and going low resistance/sub ohms makes me forget about VV/VW. Also the non VV Reo is the most durable piece of machinery you'll get your hands on, it could literally last you forever considering you can get everything to repair it yourself.

Of course that's just my opinion. The best thing to do? HAVE BOTH!

Wood REO's WILL be made!!!

Robert has lots of wood. Hmmm.

He is waiting for a lull in production to start in on the Wood REO's.

It takes lots of hands on work, since they are mostly handmade. The finish wood work is done by hand.

Lots of sanding, fitting, and finishing time is involved.

The waiting is tough. But the end product is well worth the wait!!!

I happily stand corrected. I took one of his comments about wanting to make them again the wrong way.

So if we all stop ordering more Reos, the Woodvils will arrive sooner?

Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place...

So how much do those porcupine$ run. I'm gonna have to start a little stash on the side once I get my Mini and maybe another one for the old man if he seems interested after showing mine off.
I was thinking about grabbing one of those wooden mods that's popular around here but someone with the codename "Newman" ruined that one!

I do believe it will be well worth the wait!

Last batch of Woodvil's went for $150 -$165 , VV Woodvils from $205-$220 from what I remember.

OK, I only bought one, and held my order for more til the Woodvils come back. :vapor: With my luck, the Woodvils will come out, sell quickly, and I'll be on the waiting list again just like those darn "rare" Ohm meters. Worst off, those Ebay guys will buy them all up and I'll have to spend a fortune bidding on one  Should have a pre-order list or a purchase limit of 1 per order. :)

A VV grand is off the chain. Everyone should have ATLEAST one.

I like it for several reasons, in no particular order. I'll start by saying if I could only have one REO, it would be a regular grand (not VV), but thank god I can have more than 1. Here's why:

1 it's size is great. It's slightly taller than a grand but the same width. I use it mainly at home or if I am taking a ride in the car (like to pick up the kids from school) and don't have to worry about pocketing it. It fits my hand perfectly.

2. The button placement is perfect (trigger finger).

3. The way the button fires is superb - it's done thru electronics so it is either on or off (no firing pin / spring / moving positive contact).

4. No noalox required since the contact doesn't move.

5. The batts last a long time. I vape at a very low setting but also rotate mods though.

6. Every hit is exactly the same right up until the stacked 18350s die. Hard for me to explain but since the chip operates on the combined voltage, the batteries still function perfectly all the way down to each battery hits around 3.7 volts. So even at when they are depleted down to 3.7 each, they are still capable of pumping like 7.4 volts! Try vaping a battery depleted down to 3.7 on your grand - it's starting to taper off once your battery is at that point right?

7. There is allot of space inside the mod for bottle access ease.

I'd get one. Now. :)
