Orleans is fine, I don't count Kanata...nightmarish place with it's cul de sacs, and roads never leading out....
I feel the same way with both Kanata AND Orleans, lol....... Orleans more due to those ridiculous traffic circles for attempting traffic calming, what a dumb invention for people who can't even figure out how to drive like a normal human being !
I'm on the other side of the river, but i work in Nepean ... so tally 1 up for me 
Does it count if you were born and raised in Ottawa? I grew up in the Billings Bridge area. Had a great childhood and love the city. At that time, Orleans and Kanata were considered outskirts.
Lol... when I moved here, Orleans was a butcher, a store, a restaurant, and some scattered houses & farms. Kanata was just bush, lol.

It worries me that alot of people don't know how to use the newish st joseph roundabout...couple months back I had to come to a complete stop as this old women somehow figured out how to go the wrong way on it....she looked so panicked and was in danger of slowly driving head first into me at 5km an hour while I was completely stopped...those things are designed for you to want to go one way on it...so there's only one thing harder than getting on the wrong way...and that's trying to figure out how to get off of it going the wrong way....

I'm in an irrelevant piece of bush on a small farm somewhere near smack between Metcalfe, Russel, and Edwards.
From Orleans here and definitely not looking forward to the 2 roundabouts planned for Trim Road. It's the people that have no clue how they work that scare me!
I actually really needed the st joseph one...I have to turn left onto st joseph every morning...saves me time on my route...
