I have been vaping for the past 3 years, in a country that does not legally allowing vaping. Recently, they have started clamping down hard on the local suppliers that have been bringing the juices and kits. Rather than regulating, my government has chosen the easier way out, which is to ban. It doesn't help when global organisations like WHO strongly denounces the benefits of vaping vis-a-vis analogs. Logically and medically, it does not make sense to ban vaping and not smoking. Cigarettes (or rather tobacco) contains 10s of thousands of toxins while eJuices has no medically proven toxins besides the supposedly high carcinogenic smoke when heated to a very high temperature. Even the latter hasn't been proven without reasonable doubt.
Can you imagine if all the smokers in the world switch to vaping? There will be less illnesses for both the smokers themselves and passive bystanders. Imagine the global financial impact to the medical and pharmaceutical companies. Imagine also the reduction in collectable taxes by the governments.
Fear mongering is always very good tool, for man always fear what they don't know/understand. History has always been written by the victors. We still don't know who will win this war...
