Last weekend when I was out of carts and got desperate I bought one of those smoke anywhere things.... yea yea I know but I was desperate. The one she let me try was great... good throat hit, vapor and very smooth taste. Mine however sounds like umm... you know that sound you get when you're drinking through a straw that has a pin hole in it? It still works but makes that weird noise... should I take it back and ask for a replacement? I'm saving it for an emergency back-up to my 510

To be blunt, those PV's are not even good backups. Get another 510 or a Janty Stick or the new Protege from puresmoker. All of them are under $100.

I consider the gurgling sound from the SE-G an indicator that it's working good, at least that's when I get the best vapor. I have since switched to a pen style, but the hit from the SE-G is still good once in a while.

I get the gurgling too at times. It don't change anything in mine. I say, if it works, use it. That SE Gold is just a re branded RN4081. It's a shame you weren't aware of it before you went out to get it. The same model is sold at the Pilot Truck stops for half the price of SE, and that price is still high.

Like I said, you got it, it's over. Use it up. If you want to keep it for a back-up, parts and supplies are fairly inexpensive.

I just noticed you're in south TX. It's a shame that I didn't know about your situation. We're probably close enough that we could have met halfway, and I could have lent you what you needed to keep you going until you stuff arrived.
