Ok the lovely Jynn decided to send out some samples for a few of us volunteers to try and I was one of the takers. So yesterday I received the package she sent and there were 4 samples in there. I will review each individually ( plus I have only sampled one so far ;) )

1. Moonpie

2. Peanut Butter Banana

3. Peppermint Banana Malt

4. Blackberry Lemonade

So I decided to go with a flavor of a southern favorite and try the old Moonpie. I was excited and was not let down.

Flavor, on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 7, not very strong but I doubt most people would want it to be over powering. I would but the average person may not. So even if you don't love Moonpies you would still enjoy this one. The good part is in that initially it isn't BAM but the flavor does reside.

Throat hit, I would probably rate this an 8, but the subtlty is a good sell. If you want something to knock your socks off every time then you probably have that sitting to the side and it wouldn't be a daily vaper. This is enough for me to take a quick hit off of or to vape at a relaxing pace. Good sweet spot area IMO.

Vapor, I should have noted earlier that I tried this both on my 3.7v Chuck and my 5v ( just got it recently on a loan ) mod. On the Chuck I get a decent amount, not thick but not a small puff either. On the 5v, another good amount but a bit thicker. Overall I would give this a 9.

I gotta say I am highly impressed so far. I would certainly buy this and could see it being a go to bottle. I personally would like a little more flavor but would not advise her to add more for the general public. You would need to try it regularly then perhaps request more marshmellow or chocolate. Me thinks the lady doth provide a quality product. I will get to the others later. :D Thank you Jynn.

Next up is Peanut Butter Banana. Keep in mind all of these reviews are relative to me, your experience may be totally different as is with food reviews. Some people are more sensitive to certain tastes and such so take it with a grain of salt ;) :p

Ok I tried this one a few minutes ago for the first time. I will try to follow the same procedure I did in my initial review of the Moonpie.

Flavor, on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 6. It is pretty subtle but that can be a good thing. You don't get an overwhelming Peanut Butter nor a Banana. The aftertaste , like the Moonpie, is there but I doubt anyone would be running to wash their mouth out aftewards. It lingers a bit but nothing major. I think this is a good general area for most people.

Throat hit, again it is an 8 for me. Won't knock your hat off but the desire to hot box it isn't there either. Good target.

Vapor, on my 5v mod it is pretty much the same as Moonpie. I believe she uses 20% vg so obviously you could add more if you want to get a jet pilots view. I am fine just the way it is.

Though I like it, me personally I probably wouldn't buy this one. Nothing wrong with it but for my money I would want a little bit more flavor. I certainly wouldn't turn it down however because it is fine, I just simply wouldn't demand it.

Ok , since I am a such rebel, I decided to skip number 3 and test number 4 next. Fighting the man every step I can ;) .

Blackberry Lemonade

First things first, WOW. That is my initial description. When you first hit it you think something is odd or wrong kinda with the juice. I could not imagine what someone's reaction would be if they didn't know it was lemonade based. You 'member back during summer time when you would open up the lemonade packet or bucket and that haze of powder would hit your nose and/or mouth? Well that is what it reminds me of. It is pretty overpowering but after the shock wears off it is pretty good.

Flavor, this bad boy is certainly a 10. The lemonade is there full force but good. The blackberry pops its head up ever so slightly but lets face it lemonade on its own is pretty powerful. It doesn't linger strong after the hit but it is present but 1000 times milder.

Throat hit is a 6, not powerful but enough. The taste is much more. You could vape this bad boy all day long and not have a problem.

Vapor, about the same as the others. Not a dense fog but not bad at all. This is a really intersting vape.

Final thoughts on this. I would get some of this to keep on hand to mix it up some. This is a really good mix if you can cope with the beginning onslaught of flavor. I like it alot and I have to admit this is my first experiment with any lemonade. The blackberry , like I said is there, but won't scare you off if you don't like blackberry. If you don't like lemonade steer clear though. I would certainly buy this.

And now to my final review, uhhhh with the 4 Jynn sent me. The Peppermint Banana Malt..........

( Insert Casey Kasem voice here )

And now for the 3rd selection on our countdown we go with not the Peppermint Twist performed by Joey Dee and the Starliters and '61, but Peppermint Banana Malt, made by Jynn.

The votes came in and it was unanimous from all of our participants ( ME, just ME ) that the flavor was rated a 7. While the callers ( still just ME )could certainly get the peppermint, the banana was secondary and the malt rounded it out. Not harsh, very smooth.

Regarding the throat hit our callers ( Me,,,, Me,,, Me,,, memememememe....) gave it a 6. It wasn't that strong but this would be a nice end of day vape. Smooth on all points, nice and relaxing.

And finally in our vapor department, the vapers ( guess who? ) found it to be sufficient as were the previous entries. Just right.

So there you have it folks. Jynn ( IMO ) has done not only some odd combinations, but managed to make some pretty good DIYs. As I stated before it is relative as far as taste goes but I don't think anyone would cower in disgust from any of these. Personally the Moonpie was probably my favorite. And that ends this weeks countdown, stay tuned for future top 20 lists, and keep reaching for the stars..........:D Thank you Jynn

As opposed to starting a new thread for the same thing, I'll just chime in with my :2c: here :)

I'd have to say that all the reviews on these flavors (I got the same care package from Jynn :)) are spot on, especially the Blackberry Lemonade (that one will knock your socks off if your not ready for it, but in a good way :D)

The only thing I might be different on is the TH. I found them to be just a touch milder than described (but only by maybe half a point), but keep in mind I vape AC at usually 36mg or higher on a daily basis, so mileage will definitely vary :)

Thanks Blaze. I just began using a 5v, so I was/am a noob to it and the throat hit so in comparison to my Chuck 3.7v it is quite a bit more for me. All of us don't have the luxury of owning an arsenal or fleet of mods like yourself ;) And I should have pointed out that I typically go with 18-24 mg and that is/was on my Chuck 3.7v. The strength she sent was 12mg. Glad you liked them too, I swear everytime I hit that lemonade it reminds me of "school's out summer" .

I wish I had a fleet of PV's LOL ;)

Right now I'm down to my Chuck, my eGo batts, and my Janty stick, but I'm working on it :D

That BL is a great and rare juice, definitely a "reminder of days gone by" kinda thing :)

I was lucky enough to get the four pack of flavors from Jynn (Thank You Jynn!) but haven't had a chance to start sampling them until now.

Juices for this review (and the ones to follow) were tested dripping into a 901 atty.

Blackberry Lemonade: I was very intrigued with the prospect of this combination of flavors, so I made a bee-line for it.

Flavor: There is some serious "pucker-factor" (say that 10 times fast) involved with the Lemon flavor. Wow! I don't normally go for sour things, and honestly it didn't seem too sour, but my mouth obviously didn't agree.

The only disappointment was not detecting any berry flavor. I'm sure it was there mellowing the lemon is nothing else. That being said, I would have liked a more prominent berry presence in the mix... because all I really tasted was lemon.

I give the flavor a solid 8 out of 10.

TH: Nice and mellow, which is the way I like it. A perfect 10 out of 10.

Vapor: A surprising amount of vapor for an 80 PG / 20 VG mix. It deserves a stellar 9 out of 10.

Overall this is a fantastic flavor for anyone who likes lemon or a walk on the sour side of the street. Jynn shows some serious DIY chops with this one and I'm looking forward to testing the other flavors in her bag of goodies.
